The black hug of the night was kind. It was completely dark in the room. With her right hand lying on her flat tummy, Janina Holt rested on her side. A grin, as delicate and lovely as a spring breeze, formed on her lips beneath the blankets. She eventually became pregnant after two arduous years. She felt as though the world had stopped and just she and the little new life inside of her were left when she saw the test results at the hospital today. For this child, she had been waiting for two years.
She wanted to share the good news with her spouse right away. She took up her phone, then put it down again. Janina believed that in order for them to experience this emblem of their love together, a moment so holy ought to be shared in person. Her spouse was still not home by eleven o'clock. Janina choked back her nervousness and waited happily. As she lay in bed, her thoughts drifted to the life that lay ahead of them: the warmth of a family of three, the laughing of a kid, and her husband's kind glance.
She fell into a light slumber, engrossed in those thoughts. The same lovely scenes kept appearing in her dreams. She slept in a shallow state, periodically rolling over and mumbling, perhaps because her mind was so distracted. She didn't wake up until she felt a man's chest on her back, his body heat soaking through her flimsy nightgown. "Honey," Janina's murmur was soft like a kitten's purr, a bit raspy, and lethargic. "Mm," Julius Aurelius said in a hoarse, deep voice. He pulled her into his hug by putting an arm around her waist.
A tingling, ticklish yearning caused her to narrow her neck as his hot breath brushed against the back of her ear. However, Janina's mind was awakened when she smelled a scent that wasn't hers. To be sure, she took another breath. No. It wasn't in her head. There was undoubtedly a fragrance, and it wasn't hers. In an attempt to get some space, Janina purposefully moved a few inches away, but Julius slammed his body against hers once again. She defiantly retreated once again, only to be yanked violently back into his embrace.
"Don't play around." Janina pushed Julius away as his big hand attempted to get beneath her clothing. Not this evening. Janina blurted out the first justification that came to mind in her terror. She still wasn't sure if he was wearing perfume. She didn't want him to touch her at that very time. His approaches physically repulsed her. Julius gave her remarks no attention at all. Pinning her under him, he turned over. He buried his face in her neck after unbuttoning her collar. Janina put her hands on his chest.
"I'm on my period." It had been two months since their previous date. This was not how Julius was generally. At sixteen, she had fallen in love with him. At twenty, she declared her love. They were married at the age of twenty-four. Now that she was twenty-six and had been married to Julius for two years, this was the first time she had ever turned him down. Julius abruptly lost interest when he sensed Janina's reluctance. He came to a halt.
He simply let out a quiet, irritated sigh as he rolled off her without saying anything. After that, he went to the restroom. Before long, the sound of running The peaceful chamber was filled with water. Janina no longer felt drowsy at all. Her mind raced as she slept with her eyes open and gazed out the dark window. Was Julius seeing someone else, or was she overanalyzing the situation?
