Juan was lying in wait to see the lady that got his attention so much. She's very beautiful but full of pride. He always position himself to where she would see him but she seems oblivious to his person. She never for once glance at his side. This really made him sad.

She has this captivating smile that whenever she smiles to her sister, his heart skips and his blood pumps faster.

"When will I be so confident to face this lady" he questioned himself unhappily.

"Juan, what exactly are you doing here?" One of his course mate asked him.

"What the heck!" He sworn inwards.

He didn't want to be disturbed. Although Jason is his friend but he never wanted to be interrupted so he can summon his courage to go meet her.

Juan been an introvert, hardly mingle with people so most of the guys hated him thinking him to be proud and cold.

Juan never minded because he himself love his life to be quiet but Jason, won't stop coming. It got to some point that he began to choke him with his unwelcoming advances.

Jason also was part of the people with the thought that he was proud because his parents are well to do but he was determine to get him mingle.

He wanted to change his bad character. So he walked his friendship into his life and then he began to understood that Juan wasn't the type of folk people thought him to be. He is just a gentle and calm one who loves privacy.

Jason was glad that he never gave up on Juan because he got lot of help from him. He didn't even mind when other guys rained abuses on him calling him a slave. None knew that he has a nice friendship with the so called cold guy.

"You didn't answer me" Jason said positioning himself beside him.

"Hmm, just catching cool breeze" he lied.

"Despite the glaring fact that Jason has proven himself to be a good friend, Juan still finds it uncomfortable to share his secrets with him. He prefers to keep it to himself so as to avoid some unwanted gossip.

Juan's lady crush passed and this time she was with four other people aside her sister. He knew that he couldn't talk to her amidst them.

"Not today" he said softly to himself.

"What did you say?" Jason asked.

He actually heard him but didn't get the meaning of the word.

This was when Juan realised that he said the words that was meant to be his thought out. This lady was really getting him nut and if care is not taken, he's gonna land him in a big bowl of trouble.

"Just talking to myself" he replied grateful that what he said didn't give him away nor did Jason has a clue of what he meant.

Jason gave him a doubting look but he didn't ask further. Being with Juan for sometime knows that no matter the pestering, if Juan doesn't want to tell he won't so he just let it go.

Not too long, Juan's lady crush and her folks came to take their seat so close to them that he could perceive her perfume. He was really fighting the urge to look at them.

"Juan!!!" Jason called raising his voice.

"What?" He snapped.

"Are you sure you are okay?" He asked looking at him with so much concern.

"Don't I look fine?" He frowned.

"I've been talking to you for a while now and I've got no reply. That's even wrong, I don't think you heard a thing I've been saying all the while. What's up with you boy?" He asked with an intensified look.

"Nothing. Just got a lot on my mind" he replied calmly.

"Are you sure?" He was doubtful of his reply.

The concerned look on Jason told him that he was really overdoing it. He wished he could just stop and return to his normal calm and free self. But her thought won't let him be. He feel so frustrated.

"I'm alright".

Jason gave him a skeptical look but didn't say anything.
