Adriana POV

“My boyfriend is gonna love this…” I said to Mara, my best friend as we made our way to my boyfriend apartment.

“Of course he should. We spent all our time just to bake this!” she muttered and I giggled. I was bubbling with so much excitement that I might explode anytime soon.

It was still early but I decide to surprise my boyfriend Gregory on bed with a cake. My boyfriend Gregory wasn't the type to get up early from bed, so I was so sure he was still sleeping.

We got to his apartment and I opened it with the spare key I have.

We quietly made our way inside and found the living room empty like I guessed.

I dropped the cake and we neatly arranged the birthday candles and then light it up before making our way upstairs.

“I hope this turn out well” Mara said. I rolled my eyes. Of course it will. I waited a few seconds to catch my breath before making our way upstairs.

I could hear faint sound of moans coming from upstairs. I furrowed my brows and increased my pace. The sound became clearer at each time we took.

My heart thumped faster as I approached the door.

I got to the door and without wasting time, I opened it. My heart shattered completely at what I saw.

“Puff!”

Gregory was making out with another woman in bed!

I was too stunned. My body shook completely seeing what was going on in the room.

The room was filled with the smell of sex and the sound of loud moans.

My heart sank as I stood at the door. Their bodies were entwined, lost in a word of their own, oblivious to the fact that we were standing just a few feet away.

“Holy moly!” Mara whispered beside me. My body went stiff and the cake I was holding slowly dropped from my hand and down to the floor with a smashing sound which attracted Gregory and the woman he's with.

On seeing me, his eyes widen with shock and he instantly got off the lady, giving me the chance to get a clearer view of her face.

“Chloe?” My jaw dropped in shock when I realized it was my stepsister

“You!” I gasped.

Her face didn't hold any feeling of remorse or whatsoever, in fact, the only thing her face held is anger. Anger that I just ruin their moment.

“Anna….” Gregory called.

“What the fuck are you doing here?” he asked and I chuckled lightly.

“Whay the fuck am I doing here?…..” I asked back and turned to Maya.

“My boyfriend just asked me what the fuck am doing in his mansion Maya. Isn't it funny?” I asked Maya with pains written over me. My chest tightened.

“You!” I pointed my finger at my stepsister .

“How could you do this to me!…. How could you both do this to me?” I yelled.

I was hurt. I felt betrayed. These were the people I love and trusted with my whole life. People I’m willing to sacrifice so much for, but these same people just fool me. They just stab me at my back.

“Don’t try to play the victim here Anna!” Chloe spat.

“Fuck Anna! . What the heck is wrong with you. You just ruined the moment!”My stepsister Chloe said.

“What?” I muttered in disbelief.

“No, this can't be happening!”

“Close the door when you leave, no need to tell me it's over, I know ok? Thanks for letting me f**k you for a year” he and returned to kiss Chloe. They kissed passionately and right in my present, he thrust his d**k into her.

I felt disgusted.

Uncontrollable tears ran down my cheek as I stare at both of them. This all feels like a bad dream to me

and I hope everything will be find once I wake up, but my whole being knows that this was no dream, this is reality and nothing is going to change.

My world came crashing down as I watched them make out in front of me.

I and Gregory have been dating over a year now that I thought we had a future together, but no, all this was a lie and the truth broke my heart completely.

I've come here today in my best outfit to surprise my boyfriend but I ended up getting surprised instead.

My heart ached.

“You bastard!!”

I wanted to run to him and punched them so hard but my feet remained glue to the ground.

“Why….why did you both do this to me?” I asked. He thrusting into Chloe p****y and looked up at me.

He smirked.

“Do you actually believe that I love you Anna?” he asked and I gulped down.

“You're just a nerd girl who fell for my charm. You were so gullible and stupid and I had been able to fool you until now…..” he said and I shook my head slowly, refusing to believe.

“I never loved you. Just wanna to get under your skirt. I should have dumped you a lot sooner but then, where's the fun in that”he said

“What man would want to spent his life span with you. You have no sense of reasoning. You're stupid, nerd and gullible. None of what we share was real. I hate you Anna and nothing about you entices me!” he spat out.

“Y…y”

“So glad you finally see the truth for yourself. At least I wouldn’t have to pretend” Chloe added.

I look at her with streaming out of my eyes. She was my sister. My blood. How could she think of doing this to me?

“You see Anna, I love Greg right from the day you introduce him as your boyfriend. He’s so handsome and it’s not my fault that I fell for him. Greg also felt the same way. The feeling was mutual. We’ve been dating over two months now and you were so dumb not to notice. Gosh!”

She said.

I sniffed.

The pains in my heart was unbearable. I thought he loves me. I had picture a prefect future with him, but now, the real truth about what he thinks of me has finally been revealed.

I clutched to my chest breathing heavily as more tears rolled down my cheeks.

“You both betrayed me!”

I said amidst tears.

“You’re a monster! An animal Gregory! That's what you are. How was it easy for you two to do this without any human feelings or remorse? !” I asked with rage.

He groaned and sneered at me.

“Why can't you shop throwing a tantrum and get your worthless pieces of trash self out of here?. The sight of you disgust me and I can't put up with you anymore!”

“Greg….”

My feeble voice lost its authority. The weight in my chest seemed to intensity as i barely breathe.

“You Chloe, how could you do this to me. You’re my sister and you dare do this to me?”

I shook my head. Sadness engulfed me. I was horrified.

“Step sister” she corrected.

“I never like you Anna…..so it’s no big deal. Quit the whole talk and get out with your pet you called friend. You did interrupt something and we’ll love to continue!”she spat.

“Okay. I've had enough!” Mara suddenly chimed in. I totally forgot she was beside me all this while.

“You motherfucker!” she took off her shoe and rushed towards Gregory and Chloe.

“How dare you hurt my best friend!” she yelled and throw her shoe at him.

“What the hell!!” Gregory spat but Mara wasn't done yet. She throw a punch at his face. His lip immediately busted.

“Shit!” Chloe who was beside him gasp. Mara did the unthinkable and grab her hair. She slapped her on her cheek.

“Fuck!” I mumbled. She pulled her to the floor and started hitting her naked body.

“How……pounch……dare……pounch…..you……punch…..you……sleep…..punch…..with…..punch…her….punch…..boyfriend!”

She kept punching with every words she spoke. Gregory made to intervene but she release another punch on his face.

“ Mara…..” My jaw dropped and ran to them. She's gonna kill her if I don’t intervene. I started pulling her from the Chloe’s body.

“Leave me alone. I want to teach them a lesson. How dare her call me a pet….Motherfuckers!!!” she yelled.

“Lets just leave please…..” it came out more like a whisper.

“Fuck you!” She kicked her face before getting up. Chloe let out a loud cry.

God! I couldn’t be more happy. Tho am heartbroken, I was grateful at the lesson she taught them. Holding her hand, we left the apartment.

Betrayal truly hurts more when it’s from someone unexpected and someone you love.

I trusted him, but in a matter of seconds, that illusion had been utterly shattered into a million pieces.

He cheated on me, not with anyone else but my step sister!
