It was 10 O’clock at night. The streets were crowded because of Halloween. Everyone was walking in Halloween customs. Vampire, Zombies, goblins, werewolves were walking on the streets. She was dressed up as a witch. She was walking as she wanted to reach her destination where the large party was held for those who were invited.

She looked up on the billboard “Devil’s inside,” was written over it. She was in the exact location. She took out her phone from the small bag and dialed a number.

“I am out, where are you?” she asked, there was tension over her face.

The voice appeared from the other side of the phone making her even more worried.

“But I want to spend this evening with you,” she said but someone shouted from the other side.

“I know you are in there and I need to talk, tell me what have I done, why are you acting so oddly, don’t you love me anymore?” She asked with tears in her eyes.

She looked so innocent at the moment. The weather was not normal today. Light thunderstorm could be heard on the screen whenever the light struck.

“I want to meet you, please now, don’t ignore me like this,” she said. Tears were falling down from her cheeks.

“I am waiting for you outside,” she said, indicating that the person with whom she was speaking agreed to meet her.

She was an innocent little angel in the world of demons. She thought everything would turn into a fairy tale, but she has no idea that the way she is thinking would be lethal to her.

Being a 17 years old High-school student, she had many dreams, she was ambitious, and despite her personal life was broken. She trusted him; she wanted him to be on her side when no one was there for her. She was happy and safe around him but a few days back, she started feeling a change in his behavior as if he was not the same person he used to be.

She sat on the bench nearby. The wind was blowing heavily. She was looking at the door in order to see him coming but he was not coming.

Furious she moved her fingers in her hair.

“He can’t do this, there must be some trouble, maybe he got busy, he never ignores me,” she thought.

She looked around her. A lot of costumes were walking on the street.

She thought a lot of things for this Halloween as this was her very first Halloween with him.

“Where is he? What took him so long?” she muttered.

After a while the door was opened and a bunch of teens wearing strange customs walked out. She knew a lot of them as they were studying in the same school. In a crowd she saw and took a deep breath of relief, but that breath was the last calm breath she took as her next moment was a great moment of panic.

She looked at him with her Jaw-drop. He was walking with the blond girl who was wearing a dress like a complete slut. He was kissing her passionately. She felt as if the sky fell over her head.

Her whole body was trembling. They passed by her and ignored her.

She turned and called his name.

“Xavier,”

They stopped and he turned. He raised an eyebrow as if he did not know her.

“How could you do this with me?” she asked with tears in her eyes.

He walked towards her and looked inside her eyes.

“Do what?” he asked. She looked at him with a confused expression.

“So everything in between us was a lie? It was all a game to you?” she asked and a smirk appeared over his face, a kind of smirk that was part of his personality. The same smirk that made her blush when he sees her with. But today the case was against the opponent. She was feeling afraid of this smirk.

“Everything is over Amanda, move on, I don’t make permanent commitment you know it,” he said. A lightning struck from the sky, it was so bright that their eyes narrowed for a while. She fell down over her knees and for a while his expressions changed. He looked at her as if he was fighting with himself.

“Honey,” called out the blond girl. He looked at her and then to Amanda. The girl walked ahead towards him and grabbed his arm.

“Let’s go,” she said.

He looked at Amanda one last time and turned with the girl but it was clear he was doing it in trance.

Amanda looked up at him who was looking at her while walking ahead, their eyes locked and they remained locked until he was gone.

She cries while placing her hand over her heart. For a few moments she cried and after that she got up wiping her tears away. She walked towards an unknown direction. She was walking slowly without caring about anything. Her mascaras were all dripped now.

“It’s over,” his voice was echoing in her mind. Tears were falling from her eyes. It was cold and her costume was not enough to cover her up.

The town’s huge bridge could be seen from the place where she was standing, she was walking continuously without any idea of where was going.

She walked on the bridge and looked up.

“Everything is a game? Every pain I have suffered from was a game for you? You have never cared for me ever, Everything that is important to me, you have taken it away, Now I will do what I like most, I will hear to my heart,” she screamed while looking up.

“I will do it,” she said in a whisper and climbed up on the wire of the bridge. She looked down and the water was running fast. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She was about to jump when another light struck and she fell from the wire but not in the water but on the Bridge's side. The light was bright. She closes her eyes and opens them up narrowly in order to look but she was unable to look. After a while the light was gone and a tall boy of her age appeared, he looked exhausted.

“Mom,” he said and went faint.
