Kelsey's POV

My annoyingly loud alarm woke me up, today is supposed to be one of my happiest days but I'm already having a terrible feeling about today, it's my birthday and I'll finally get my wolf and my mate. I really can't wait to get my mate,I want to experience the butterflies and the Sparks.

Oooh I'm sorry,I didn't introduce myself. Well my name is Kelsey a daughter of the alpha of the whitemoon pack, I'm half human half werewolf, I know you're wondering how that was even possible. Well my mom was a human and my dad a wolf.

My dad mated with a human but unfortunately she died after having me, and because my dad was an alpha who needed a Luna,he remarried a woman named Alecia. She's gave birth to 2 boys who are my bestest friends Alex and Kenneth. I'm a year older than them and they still got their wolves before me, they got theirs at the age of 16 but unfortunately for me I might get mine on my 18th birthday which is today.

I got up,dressed up and went straight to the living room, everyone was happy to see me. My brothers even made everyone sing me a birthday song, my dad got me a car and I loved it. I went back to my room to back up my bags and head to school and then all of a sudden I heard a strange voice right in my head. "Hey, don't be scared. I'm your wolf and my name is Nia" the voice was calm and warm, I replied"nice to meet you Nia" I could feel her purr, I took my bag and drove to school.

Immediately I arrived at school,I perceived a beautiful smell,it was like primroses in the summer, I looked around and couldn't find anyone. My wolf was pushing me to find who it was,I followed the scent but it vanished into thin air. I went straight to my class my mind still confused because of the scent. Classes went great and the day ended, I drove home ignoring all the bullies who kept picking on me.I got home,took a shower and slept off.

I felt someone nudging me awake,it was Alex he told me to dress up for the party. My dad threw a big birthday party, he was excited I was getting my wolf and I would possibly find my mate, I dressed up in my flair black gown which landed on my mid thigh, I packed my hair in a messy bun and applied little makeup and went downstairs for the party.

Everywhere was packed, all the unmated wolves were there, my dad made me sit and look around me the party to see if I could find my mate. The night was coming to an end and I still haven't found my mate nor have I shifted. My wolf kept calming me down telling me that my mate was on his way.

The party was over and everyone had gone to their various homes, I felt like a disappointment for not finding my mate, my dad assured me that I would find him but I lost all hope,who would even want someone like me. A phone call interrupted my dad and I conversation,he left me with my brothers who were trying their best to cheer me up. All of a sudden, the smell was back that beautiful scent was back,my wolf was literally jumping in my head. I went outside to see if I could find him and there he was. One of the most beautiful beings I've ever seen, the moonlight made his physical attributes glow, my gosh he was perfect. He moved closer to me and I saw his beautiful face with green eyes that I could get lost into,he was the definition of perfect. My dad came right out and he understood exactly what was going on and then he said to me "Kelsey,meet the alpha of crescent blood pack" he just stared at me and what he said literally broke me to pieces.
