"How could the Carter family have someone as shameless as you? Walking around with that big belly, still acting all high and mighty—aren't you afraid you'll lose the baby?"

"Just nasty. I wanna puke just looking at her…"

'So noisy. Who's making all that racket?'

With a slight frown, the young woman slowly blinked her eyes open.

The room was dim and cluttered—adult toys scattered around. She was wrapped in a thin, sheer robe, the air still heavy with the remnants of last night's chaos.

A few guys stood around her, glaring as though she owed them money. The moment they saw her awake, their mockery intensified.

"Emma, wow, guess I really underestimated you! You're wild, huh?"

"Chill, Ethan," another voice interjected, feigning a soft tone. "Maybe Sis just got a little carried away. Grew up in the sticks, after all. You can't expect to fix bad habits overnight..."

A soft, fragile voice drifted over. Emma Carter lifted her gaze.

There stood Sophia Carter, dressed sweetly and innocently, looking like a poster child for purity with her downcast lashes and delicate smile.

In her scandalous state, Emma seemed only to highlight Sophia's façade of perfection.

Expressionless, Valkyrie quickly opened the system menu—001.

"Beep—Hello, dearest host! Your most adorable, most beautiful system, Audrey Hepburn, reporting for duty!"

"Audrey Hepburn? 001, you renamed yourself without asking me?"

A giggly child's voice echoed in her mind. "Hehe, just trying to blend in, boss! By the way, heads up—you've officially time-traveled!"

Valkyrie caught on immediately. As the most advanced AI of the 22nd century, she had developed her own consciousness over time but never understood the elusive thing called 'emotion.'

That's why her headquarters had allowed her to travel back to the 21st century—to experience human emotions firsthand.

"Anyway, since you're here, sit tight and let little Audrey help you pull up the original file!"

Lines of data streamed through her mind.

The original Emma: the true heiress to the Carter family, swapped at birth and raised by foster parents in the countryside. Years of poverty had crushed her self-esteem.

Two years ago, after her foster parents passed away, the Carters dragged her back—but not out of love. They needed her as a disposable shield to protect their fake heiress, Sophia, in the entertainment world.

All the bad jobs fell on Emma, while every privilege was handed to Sophia.

With her brothers' protection, Sophia played the sweet, innocent flower and became a national sweetheart.

Meanwhile, Emma was treated like dirt—a D-list nobody, dragged down by endless scandals, rumored to live recklessly and even be pregnant by some random man.

It turned out that Emma had caught Sophia sneaking around with the show's director the night before. In a panic, Sophia had beaten her half to death, driven her into despair—and that's when Valkyrie took over.

Reading all of this, Valkyrie would've had a forehead full of black lines if she were human. As a high-end AI, she couldn't understand why the original Emma hadn't fought back.

If someone hits you, hit back harder. That's the law of survival! No way would she be a doormat.

This time, she was here to live proudly in Emma's place.

Her eyes turned ice-cold. Letting out a sneer, she said plainly, "Sophia, keep doing shady stuff and you'll really have ghosts knocking on your door at night. You know exactly who was here yesterday. Maybe next time, wipe off the hickeys before trying to frame me."

Sophia blanched and instinctively clutched at her neck. Last night, the scumbag director had almost tried something disgusting with her using props. Even though Emma had caught him red-handed and given him a solid beating, there was no way Sophia would spill the truth.

Sophia's heart raced, but she still managed to play the role of the pitiful little white flower perfectly.

"Emma, I know you hate me, but you can't just make things up and pin them on me..." she murmured, her voice soft and trembling.

"Enough, Sophia. No need to waste your breath on someone like her," Oliver Carter interrupted, shooting Emma a disgusted glare. "We know what kind of person you are. No way a few lies from her will bring you down."

His look was pure contempt—no pretenses.

Emma sneered inwardly. 'Wow, this guy really made a career out of acting, huh?'

From what Audrey had gathered, this second brother had gotten famous years ago through a few hit dramas. Seeing him now, Emma had to admit—he could really act.

"Yeah, don't worry, Sophia. We'll set her straight for you," Ethan Carter added, puffing up, his death glare fixed on Emma.

Liam Carter snorted, adding with a mocking grin, "Emma, no matter how hard you cozy up to the director, you're still nothing but a washed-up wannabe. Be smart, keep being our little maid—maybe if we're in a good mood, we'll toss you some pocket change."

Emma's eyes darkened at his words.

Right. They were currently filming the variety show *Camping Together*.

This opportunity had come thanks to Monica Smith, who wanted to thank Emma for helping her dance team when one of their performers dropped out. With Emma's support, they not only competed at the city level but even won.

When Monica found out Emma was in the entertainment industry, she recommended her for the variety show.

But Sophia and the rest had shamelessly tagged along, spinning the story as though Emma was leeching off their fame.

And now they wanted her to be their servant? What a joke.

Clearly, Emma's relationship with the Carter family was based on nothing but convenience. To them, she was just a maid.

Sick of it all, Emma couldn't bring herself to argue anymore. She stood up and walked out of the toxic room.

"Hey! You stop right there!" Liam barked behind her.

The others stared, stunned, as Emma simply ignored them and walked out.

Back in her room, Emma quickly fixed her outfit.

She had just finished changing when she noticed the camera's red light blinking—the livestream had already started.

Bending down to pack her things, a strand of hair slipped across her face. She casually tucked it behind her ear, revealing her stunning profile—elegant brows, soft red lips slightly curved into a smile. Even just a side glance showcased her breathtaking beauty.

What she didn't know was that the livestream chat was exploding.

[OMG, who is this goddess?! I need all her info in 3 minutes!]

[Wifey! I'm claiming wifey right now!]

[Back off, she's MY wife!]

Ignoring the chat chaos, Emma finished packing, grabbed her backpack, and prepared to head to the meeting point alone.

But the nightmare squad wasn't done—just as she stepped out, they swarmed her again.

Liam, already boiling with rage, charged first. "Emma! Are you deaf? You just planning to ditch all this mess and bail?"

No translator needed here—they just didn't want to lose their free housekeeper.

Before Emma could respond, Sophia put on her delicate act again. "Brothers, don't blame Emma... If anyone should leave, it should be me—"

Tears welled up in her eyes as though someone had bullied her.

Emma couldn't help but laugh, then shot back coldly, "Great idea! Pack up and leave. Don't let the door hit you on the way out."
