March 28, 20XX, 2:38Pm. Manila International Airport.
"Yeah, I'm already outside the airport. You can come pick me up now, where are you anyway?" The woman wearing Red silk dress with black sunglasses was talking to someone on her phone. Didn't care about everyone's eyes that is focusing on her now.
"I just arrived, it's alright if Justin came with you." A man wearing a business suit also talking to someone on his phone. There's only 4 meters distance between them and they didn't even looked at each other.
"Daddy!" A cute voice from the other side of the road.
Lexi, the woman who just got finished talking to the driver that was sent by her family to fetch her, heard that voice. But what's captured her attention the most was the orange car that was approaching faster and will possibly hit the little boy that is now running across the road. Luckily she was wearing her low white snickers and not her heels. As everyone started screaming, Lexi runs quickly to approached the little boy with full of hopes on her heart that she could successfully saved him from the future accident.
"Justin!!" The man with the cellphone yelled loudly when he saw the scene in front of him.
A loud screech from the tires and a long horns from the car that was supposed to hit the young boy silenced everyone.
On the other side of the road, Lexi was laying on the ground with her elbows and knees bleeding. Inside of her embrace, there's a little boy who were also quite and just hides his innocent face on the woman's chest. When the little boy moved his small hands everyone started clapping while others are praising God's name who sent someone to saved the little boy.
"The boy is saved!" Kayden finally regained his senses due to the great shocked when he heard the loud yelling of the people who are present that time.
"Justin.. Justin!" He exclaimed as he runs towards the other side of the road. His assigned bodyguards are already surrounding the certain spot with apologetic and nervous expression on their faces.
On the ground, there's a woman who were unconscious while embracing his son who are now crying while trying to wake up his savior.
"Daddy! Is mommy dead?" The innocent boy looked at him while tears on his eyes keeps flowing. "Did I kill her, Daddy?" He added as he keeps sobbing.
Kayden rushed towards his son and cupped his face while he is shooking his head.
"No, she's not dead. Don't cry." He said and tried to comfort him first. When his son finally reduced his crying, he called his subordinate and hand his son to him. "Hold him carefully.." He emphasized each of his words, and the man nodded as an answer.
"Is anyone called the ambulance yet?" He asked the people surrounding them. Someone answered yes and even added that the ambulance is already on the way. Kayden glanced at the woman who still unconscious, he then also looked down on her bleeding wounds. He couldn't imagine himself looking at his son in more serious situation than this, if this woman didn't save his son.
"Daddy, why mommy isn't opening her eyes yet?" His son asked him again.
How could he explain to him that this woman isn't his mother? Kayden open his mouth to tell his son the truth when he heard the sound from ambulance. He looked at the direction of where it will be coming from and looked back to the woman who still unconscious at that time.
"Sir, this is the things that the woman was holding before saving your child." An elder woman approached him and gave him the woman's luggage. He just thanked her and accepted the luggage.
"Excuse me, please stay out of the way." Kayden heard the voice from someone who's wearing a white uniform and also holding an stretcher.
"Daddy! The ambulance is here, Mommy will soon be saved, right?" Justin asked him again and he has no choice but no nod this time. He will just explain everything to him later.
"You're the husband? Please follow us inside the ambulance, sir." The man in white uniform talked to him. Kayden was just standing there and blinked several times before fixing his necktie.
First, his son thought that this woman is his mother. Second, this rescuer thought that this woman is his wife. Now, what should he answer to them? A tapped on his shoulder snapped back his senses. He looked to someone who did that and saw the man in white signaling him to enter the ambulance where his "wife" has been placed.
"Daddy, bring me with you! I want to also guard my mommy!" Justin shouted behind him. He took a deep breath and signed his hand to his men to handed his son to him. They got inside the ambulance and seated inside besides woman stretcher.
Kayden stared at the woman face, he noticed her face that didn't have any makeup. Her lashes are long, lips is color peach, and most especially, her face seemed sad?
"The driver of the car surrendered to the police who was roving around the area that time." The man in the white uniform talked to him. "You have a great wife sir." He also added.
Kayden didn't utter any words and just nodded. What should he say? Tell them that the girl is not actually his wife? Then how about his son?
"Hmmm..." A sound from woman who's now regaining her consciousness reached his hearings.
The people inside the ambulance straightened their backs and so Kayden.
"Mommy! You're awake now? You're still alive!" Justin started crying again and approached the woman who are now looking at them, especially to his son. Kayden gulped while looking at the woman, her eyes is full of questions and confusion.
"Mommy.. Are you mad at me? I'm sorry.." Justin cry became louder again, while hugging the woman arms.
Kayden averted his eyes when the woman looked back at him again. He might admitted that this is his first embarrassing moment, but he couldn't helped himself and just listen to his child calling someone his "mommy".
" Stop crying, Baby. Mommy's fine, and I'm not angry with you." Kayden looked back at the woman surprisingly.
How could she said that?!
