That was great. She had returned to the age of four!
When Jane Wallace opened her eyes and saw the familiar villa before her, she was overjoyed!
Over the past eight years, she dedicated herself to the pursuit of science and worked hard to create a time machine. Her goal was to go back and prevent the heartbreaking loss of her family that occurred twenty-four years ago. And now, she had finally succeeded! Looking at her child-sized short legs and arms, as well as her chubby little hands, she knew very well that she had become a four-year-old child!
Ugh... She looked at her palm, which had just touched her face, and clicked her tongue. But she was a little dirty. And the clothes... were a little too shabby. However, if she remembered correctly when she was two years old, she was thrown out of her home by Alice Wallace, who had taken over the her home. Now, she was in prison.
Although she lived in the welfare home, but her heart still held a deep affection for warm home. Otherwise, she wouldn't have embarked on a long journey alone to return to her home. Even though she had return before, she had been driven out by Alice claiming that she's was a little beggar.
However, everything has changed. Back then, she was just four years old, and her speech was a bit clumsy. She couldn't compete with Alice, who was already eight-year-old. But now, her soul was twenty-eight years old. Was she afraid that she couldn't defeat this little girl? While Jane was thinking, she heard the sound of girls singing a happy birthday song in the villa. By the way, today was Alice's eighth birthday party!
Two years ago, Alice secretly kicked her out of the house. All the affection from their parents and older brothers was directed towards Alice, who was treated like a little princess, basking in all the luxury and attention. She distanced herself from her family and encountered a heartbreaking situation when she eventually came back home!
At the thought of this, the bright eyes of Jane, breaming with full of emotion and showed the coldness of old age. She held the little hare tightly in her arms, climbed over the short wall in front of the villa, and arrived at the gate. When she pressed the doorbell, the joy inside was momentarily disrupted by its chime.
"Kid, you are..." The butler, William, came to open the door. When he saw such a little dirty girl standing at the door, he squatted down and said kindly, "Have you lost your way? Do you know how to call your parents? I will help you contact them." Jane held the doll and shook his head obediently. "I'm not lost. This is my home. My name is Jane Wallace."
Hearing this, William was stunned. Alice, who was happily celebrating in the room, also rushed to the door in disbelief. It had been two years since they last met. William found himself uncertain if the scruffy girl standing before him was indeed the same little girl who once enjoyed a life of comfort.
As soon as Alice spotted the small rabbit doll in her hand, she recognized it as Jane's! This doll was Jane's most cherished possession, and she had been holding it tightly when she accidentally left it behind. No way! How could this happen? She was so far away. How could she ever return?
"Where did the beggar come from? William, hurry up and get her out of here!" Alice quickly said, "John can't stand filthy things coming inside. If you let her in, I will get John to fire you!"
Hearing those words left William feeling a bit stunned. "Miss, for all these years, Old Madam and young masters have been searching for Little Miss. In order to find her, Old Madam was killed..."
"I think it might be a good idea to wait for John to return and confirm it. If we rush into it, we could end up losing more than we actually gain." Alice was incredibly resolute. "What makes you so certain? Jane has been missing for ages. How do you plan to find her on your own?! This beggar probably just wants to sneak into our home and take something. You're the one keeping her here. Are you ready to take responsibility for what might happen next?"
A surge of fear enveloped William, rendering him momentarily speechless. He stole a few more glances at the dirty but cute little girl, but he couldn't bear to drive her away. 1. The more he hesitated, the more Alice pressed him to decide. William felt helpless. Just when he was ready to say something, Jane blinked his large, innocent eyes and looked at Alice.
"Alice, don't you know me? Boohoo, didn't you say that you loved me the most when we were at home?"
"Sob, sob. I finally found my own home. Why don't you let me inside? Alice, do you hate me?"
"How can you not like me? You tell me, I will definitely change. Please don't drive me away. I miss you so much, and miss my brothers..."
As she spoke, she was already sobbing.
Observing this, all the friends who gathered for Alice's birthday party felt the urge to conceal their emotions.
"She cried so miserably. She doesn't look like a liar."
"Alice, take a closer look. Is she really not your sister?"
"She really resembles your older brother."
If she truly is a blackmailer, there are countless homes in the villa neighborhood. Why is she solely focused on the Wallace family? She must have some history here to want to reclaim it.
As her friends urged her on, Alice felt her agitation grow. Losing this girl who stood in her path was tough. What could she do to win her back?
"What do you know? She was sobbing uncontrollably. It seems like it's become a routine for her!" Alice felt a wave of anxiety at the thought of Jane saying something outrageous. She moved closer, ready to give her a good kick. "You're such a troublemaker! My family doesn't welcome you here. Get lost!"
"Ah, Alice, please don’t hit me! I’m really scared!" Jane cried out in a weak voice, shielding his head and stepping back. However, in a hidden corner where no one could see, she slyly extended her legs and caused Alice to tripped!
Alice stumbled and lunged forward, her forehead colliding with the door frame! "Ouch!" She instinctively covered her throbbing forehead and immediately started to cry.
"Alice, what happened? Are you alright?" Jane rushed over, clearly concerned about Alice's injury. But in her haste, she accidentally stepped on the back of Alice's tiny foot once more.
While no one was paying attention to her, she continued to push back and forth!
"Ouch! How could you step on me?" Alice felt a sharp pain coursing through her. She struggled to shove Jane aside.
Just as she was about to make contact, Jane stepped back, looking contemplative. "Oh, oh, I didn’t notice! I apologize." Unfortunately, Alice couldn’t hold back her strength in time. She pushed her hand away, but the force propelled her forward, causing her to tumble to the ground and scrape her chin!
"Oh no! Alice, what happened? Why did you fall again?" Jane rushed over, with concern, But in her haste, she lost her footing and accidentally kicked Alice right in her delicate face!
Alice gasped, overwhelmed by pain to the point where she couldn't even let out a scream. Her friends stood frozen in shock.
"Alice... you have a nosebleed!" one of them shouted in alarm. Alice lifted her hand to her face, noticing a clear streak of blood on her delicate little palm. Unable to hold back any longer, she shouted in frustration, "Ah! I’m going to tell my brother, and he won’t let you get away with this!"
Jane felt a smirk of disdain inside. But in the next moment, a cold, suffocating voice came from behind her. "Kids? How dare you hurt my sister? Do you want to die?"
