CHAPTER 1
Erin is just the type of guy any girl would fall for. He was not the tall, dark and handsome cliche bull that all epic love story heroes are supposed to be, no he is far more than that. Words were limitless to describe this masterpiece.
He is the epitome of a rugged, lean sex machine. The word to describe him in Misty's mind was sexy. This guy was SEX personified in tight black ripped jeans, v neck black t-shirt and scoffed brown boots. She could stare at this dark chocolate all night and day too.
In all entirety that was exactly what she was doing that she did not hear her friend calling her name and snapping her fingers to get her attention.
"Misty! Hello...Hello!?...Earth to Misty."
Blue eyes met dark brown. The brown ones were staring back with mild irritation but the other was filled with annoyance.
"Misty please stop it, you know that's Lisa's boyfriend right?!"
"So?" was the clipped reply.
"I really can't understand you. I think you are ridiculous," Karin said now with a touch of annoyance as her brown eyes glared with full irritation.
"I don't expect you to. You have never been in love," Misty snapped then slid her eyes to the unsuspecting guy who stood across the room a close crop cut showing natural waves and an artistically trimmed sideburns on a lean masculine jawline.
This guy is the reflection of desire and passion and yes she wants to experience it to the very core. He was a modern day adonis. He was the only man she would ever love and it pained her, her friend is standing in the way of their love being a reality.
As this thought play into her mind the very person who she love and hate in the same breath came walking through the door, and the man who she crave for more than anything open up his strong arms and engulf her petite frame close to his broad
chest, her heart flutters with envy.
That should have been her. She should have been the one who he was staring down at with such blatant adoration. His lips should be meeting her for the kiss that he was placing on plump strawberry toned lips.
"I...aw... Hey I gotta go... I just remember I have something to do." She burst out of the cafe with her heart beating with a rage that surprised her and scared her in the same breath. What the hell was happening to her? She should not be like this ever. Things were happening inside of her that made her heart pound with such a fierceness that made her feel like she was about to pass out.
She did not even realise that her friends were left staring at her and wondering what had happened to cause her to dash from the diner, neither was she aware she had made her stop by Erin's car.
It was after taking a deep breath to steady herself and get under control that she then made the realization that she was standing beside Erin's beat up Chevy that he was planning to upgrade once the upcoming swim meet competition was over.
With an impulse she tried the passenger door and found it unlocked and with a quick glance around she opened it, leaned over the seat and took the jacket that was carelessly thrown on the driver's seat.
She hastily took it and stuffed it in her shoulder bag and ran to her jeep with a thrill she was not supposed to feel. As she sped away her laughter ring out with the screech of her tires.
It was absolutely exciting to reach out and take what you want. It showed just how daring you could be and doing what she did was forthright invigorating for Misty. A delightful shiver reverberates her body as she rocks back in the driver's seat and releases her death grip on the steering wheel.
She took deep breaths to steady her wildly beating heart. This was it, this was her step into taking what she knew should have been rightfully her's. As she glance over at the jacket nestle on the passenger seat she bit her bottom lip, for a brief second she was fill with apprehension at her foolheartedly decision but as she look back to the road a mischievous grin lit her scarlet painted lips as the wind blowing through the window play with strands of her black bob with its platinum streaks.
This was her start to claiming what was her and she had stopped being a coward a long time ago. The days of sitting on the sidelines and drooling with longing and desire for Erin were over. She was intent on stepping out from the shadows and bringing Erin into the rapturous delight of her fantasies. The place where he would not be denied anything. There would be no withholding on her part as she gave him freely of her love with no inhibitions.
It was time to make things real. It was time for Erin to create their love story. It was far overdue. Too long Lisa had stepped in and made this impossible, well no more. With a determined set of her smooth white cheeks she vow she would claim the love of her life.
It was very inevitable that she did, as she had once thought love was a waste of time until it found her and held her tight within its grip. She was a prisoner who could only be set free by Erin's returned love.
The person that happened on as Misty was doing her thievery act stood and watched with utter dread. She felt her body shiver with fear in the warm summer afternoon. What she saw had her wondering if this was something that was bigger than she had first imagined.
