..Murder at the midnight..

“Camilie, leave the house. We don’t need a daughter like you. Just look at what you have done. You’re nothing but a disgrace to this family!”

Camilie’s father was angry knowing that Camilie was bullied by his boss’s son. He didn’t want to lose his job so he decided that he doesn’t need a daughter like Camilie. So he just simply threw Emily away from their house. Camily was helpless, she had nowhere to go and also she didn’t have money.

It was midnight when her father asked her to leave, as a seventeen years old girl she was a dependent. While crying, she slowly walked through the road. She was weak and pathetic, not only that but also scared.

Stopping in front of a children's park, she sat on a bench looking at the road. There were still vehicles going through the road at high speed. Suddenly, she heard the sound of a baby crying. She hesitated for a while but because of her innocent and kind heart, she slowly walked towards the place as she saw a little baby was there.

Taking the baby to her arms, she looked around wanting to find the baby’s owners but she got nothing.

“We will find your mommy, baby” she smiled at the baby who had golden eyes.

She found it was rare and weird but she didn’t care, just tried to walk out of the park. Walking out of the park she glanced everywhere wanting to find the baby’s owners but it was nothing but another failure. She sighed, then looked at the baby’s eyes which had turned blue. She gasped but her eyes softened seeing the baby was giggling.

All of a sudden, a sound of footsteps came from nowhere and Camilie looked back, then her heart was covered with terror seeing two huge men who were looking at her with murderous eyes. She hugged the baby tightly and tried to run away, but her hair was caught by a one man and then he pulled her towards him.

“AA-Ahh!”

Within a flash she felt a sharp pain through the back of her waist, and at the same time the baby was snatched by the other man from her. She was stabbed more than thrice, then throwing her onto the ground, the men laughed and walked away taking the baby with them. She didn’t move her eyes away from the baby.

She was looking at the baby’s golden eyes, then they slowly faded away from her sight. Failing to endure the pain she looked up at the sky. The moon was there, giving the light to her. A smile appeared on her face seeing how beautiful the moon was. Then she felt her eyes heavy and slowly she closed her eyes looking at the full moon, with an adorable smile on her face as her soul left her body.

“Thank the moon goddess, she’s awake.”

Hearing a woman’s voice, Camilie opened her eyes. She looked around her surroundings and saw there was a middle aged couple and two little boys around her.

“Lavicia, how are you? You scared me baby” she looked at the woman who spoke and rubbed her forehead as she sat up on the bed. Then looking at her she sighed.

“Where am I?” she questioned.

Then the people around her looked at her and shook their heads. She had never seen the people around her before. Their faces were new to her and she didn’t know where she was. But she could understand that she was in a hospital room but this hospital room was way too different from the hospital rooms that she had been in before. But she ignored it and looked at the two beautiful little boys around her.

“Wait…. Last night… they took that baby away!” her eyes filled with tears remembering the baby who was taken away by those two men. At the same time, she remembered that she was stabbed by the men.

“What? What are you talking about? A baby?” The woman asked her with a confused face.

“Yes, I was with a baby last night.” she muttered looking at her.

“Are you crazy? You were attacked by rogues last night and it was Dargan who saved you!” She was taken back hearing it. Rogues? Dargan? She felt that she was pulled into another world with the names she heard. Without talking, she lowered her head and looked at her hands.

Then she saw her skin was fairer than before and glowing as if it was a golden skin. Then she saw the long hair which was hanging through her shoulders. That hair was jet black and silky. Her heart was covered with confusion, she was not like this before. Her hair only reached her shoulders but now, it has changed. Thinking about it for sometime, she looked at the people around her.

“Lavicia? Why are you acting strangely? You don’t remember your momma and dad?”

The woman asked her with tears in her eyes. Lavicia? Lavicia…. Why are they calling her Lavicia? That was not her name, her name was Camilie…. Horror took over her, she suddenly became restless and she looked around and saw the washroom inside of the hospital room.

Then without even uttering a word, she got down from the bed and ran into the washroom and shut the door. Then she looked at herself in the mirror. Seeing the beautiful girl in the mirror, her heart stopped beating for a moment and then started to beat ridiculously fast. She couldn't understand what she was seeing and what had happened.

Long raven hair, Golden eyes, Red cherry lips and a breathtakingly beautiful face. She watched the gorgeous features through the mirror and slowly raised her hands and touched the soft skin of the face. She was beautiful, she was stunning and there were no words to describe the beauty in hers. But how did this happen? How did she become this beautiful? And who were those people around her?

“Lavicia? What’s wrong with you?”

She heard the sound of a little kid and she immediately turned on the tap of the sink and took a hand full of water before splashing it against her face. If she was having a dream, she needed to wake up as soon as possible because this was not her.

After splashing the water against her beautiful face, she looked at herself and saw she was still the same and it was not a dream. Taking a deep breath with confusion and countless thoughts in her mind. She calmed herself down. She was always an intelligent girl and she felt that something had happened. At the same time, she remembered the eyes of the baby she saw last night. The baby's eyes changed from gold to blue…

“I’m okay!” She replied and walked out of the washroom.

Then she smiled and patted the little boy’s head. As soon as she patted his head, the boy froze. He stared at her with a stunned expression. She was confused to see his face. Then she slowly looked at the other’s in the room who also had the same expressions.

“Did you just smile at him? Did you just pat your little brother’s head?” the woman asked and hurried towards her.

“Why? What’s wrong?” She asked not knowing what was going on.

“Nothing! Get ready to go home” the woman said.

Hearing the name ‘home’ her heart tightened. She had no home, she was abandoned by everyone but these people are asking her to go home. She couldn’t understand this yet.

But she could understand one thing and it was that she had been born again but not as Camile, just as Lavicia, the beautiful daughter of this middle aged couple.

Maybe, this would be a chance for her to start a new life and be loved by others. But she didn’t know about anything and she didn’t know where she was and who she was. All she thought was that she was a normal girl as she was before.

So from now on, she's not Camilie, she's Lavicia.
