"Hey midnight don't forget to shut the light off before you lock up" yelled haley as she was walking out. "Will do" I yelled. I was a waitress at big Roman's bar and grill. I moved to a small town out in the middle of no where. I was good at running by now even at the young age of 20. You see I grew up bouncing from foster home to foster home. My parents dissapeared when I was a baby. They left me on some old womens door step till I was 5. After she died I had no one. I always felt like I was different from other kids. I could do things I couldn't explain. When I was 12 I was playing with one of the other foster kids in the snow and she fell threw the ice. I couldnt reach her but some how she entered out of the river as I thought it. She was lucky enough to survive but it freaked me out. I just was thinking it and she just popped up out of the water. I was considered the problem child in my file. I had over 20 foster homes by the time i was 16 that's when i ran away and never looked back. The world is a beautiful place when you are free, but it also can be a dark place when you have secrets that you cant tell a soul about. It was past 1:30 as I was clocking out for the night. I was locking up as I heard someone behind me then everything went black. I heard growling in the darkness as I came too. I slowly opened my eyes to meet very primal yellow eyes above me . I sat up "what do you want from me" I shirked. He stared at me for a moment with a deep growl "you". I started back up as far as I could go before I hit a wall. "What are you so scared of my star" his husky voice came to my ears. "I promise this big bad wolf wont hurt you". He was getting closer and closer to me. I put my hand up to try to push him with my mind put nothing happend. "WTF" I thought to myself my powers always worked. "Oh my star your powers dont work because of the bracelet they enchanted just for you". I looked at him in shock "how do you know I have powers" . He responded with heat in his eyes and voice, "because my little one they told me everything about my soon to be mother of my child.
