简介
Something... Something very, very powerful, something other than human, grabbed me by the waist. I groaned in pain as my back hit hard against the rusty wall. I wanted to run away, but before I knew what had happened, I was pinned to the wall by two arms. I was caught. And in a very bad way! I struggled like crazy but it didn't work. She was so strong. "Did you really think you could just run away from me?" The sound was very insulting. "What do you want from me?" I asked. I looked at her with my eyes behind my bangs. A 4,000-year-old corpse shouldn't be this beautiful. "That's the thing that beats here," She bent her beautiful face to my face and poked her forefinger twice over my left chest, right where my heart was. "Not yours, mine." he said in a voice full of passion. He narrowed his glowing yellow eyes mercilessly. "And when I get it back, nothing will be left of you, Eva."

"Did you really think you could just run away from me?"

The sound was very insulting.

Chapter 1

As the Egyptian sun hit the stone of the long chain necklace;  The emerald stone, on which tiny snakes were wrapped, shone as if it were the only star in the dark sky.  The light of the stone dazzled my eyes, which had the same color as it.  So I had to cut back on my greens a bit.

I sighed deeply, feeling an incredible desire to achieve in my heart.  I took a long, long look at the necklace once again.

The white chain hung from my index and middle fingers to the level of my eyes, the necklace swaying from side to side, deterring my spirit and literally hypnotizing me.

I have never seen such a necklace in my twenty years of life!

This thing was unique...

It was very, very beautiful and definitely had to be mine alone.

I took off my fedora and tucked it under my arm as the tribe of tourists I had sneaked into disappeared into the market crowd.  I fanned my hair with my hands, causing my brown bangs to fall over my eyes.

I purposely dressed very plain that day;  I was wearing nothing superfluous except for black pants, a white T-shirt, and gray sneakers.  Not a purse, not a wallet, not a jewel...

"What's your name ma'am?"

I turned my big green eyes to the saleswoman.  She was a strange man, more than you'd like!  First of all, she was very talkative and hyperactive.  She was also dressed very strangely, she.  She looked just like a gypsy in her braided hair, pink blouse, and long pleated skirt.  Maybe he really was a gypsy.

Anyway, I'm not interested in that anyway.

The only thing I was interested in was this amazing necklace.

Instead of answering the woman's question, "Is the stone real?"  I asked.  My name was Evela Wattsan.  Everyone called me Eva, but she didn't need to know that.  After all, we only had a seller-buyer relationship.

“Of course!”  said the woman, waving her arms, and began praising the necklace, with a bang.  "It's a real necklace in every way! Besides, it's a very specially crafted piece. I'm sure it would look great on you. It would look lovely on your slender neck. You look just like an Egyptian princess anyway."

My father used to tell a lot about the Egyptian princess thing.

Turning to that moment, I smiled lightly at the saleswoman with the corner of my lip.  "How much does it cost?"  I asked.

"Two thousand rials."  she said .

"Hoot!"  I gave a rather exaggerated reaction.

"Yes, yes! I know, the price is a little salty, but you'll never regret buying it. I can even guarantee you that."

What the hell was this woman doing?  I could live comfortably here for three months for two thousand rials!

"Then it must be something quite valuable?"  I said.  I frowned quickly and said in a sad voice, "Unfortunately, I don't have the money to pay for this."  I continued.

This time it was the saleswoman who was pouting.

Then she did something I didn't expect, she;  He snatched the necklace from my hand and said, "If you don't have money, why are you looking!?"  he snapped at me.  She angrily tucked the necklace into the left pocket of her skirt.  He was just a tourist hunter, now he is a tourist enemy...

When I sadly turned to leave, my foot tripped over the foot of the counter and I lost my balance and fell on my back.  I let out a small cry.  I clung to the saleswoman's blouse to hold on as she fell.  Of course, he couldn't balance it either!  We fell to the ground together!  A few necklaces fell off the counter with us.

Oops, I was clumsy again!

The saleswoman let out a hideous curse as she struggled on the ground.

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..."

I started to collect the necklaces that were quickly scattered on the ground.  I collected them all in my palm and handed them timidly towards the woman.  The woman took the necklaces from my hands with a fury.  He hissed at me like a snake.  He didn't like me touching his necklaces at all.

I slowly pulled my hand away from him with a mischievous smile.

"Stupid hoe!"  said the woman, counting how many necklaces she had in her palm.  Then she shot me a rage-filled look and contemptuously said, "Get lost here you miserable thing!"  she said .

"Please excuse me! I'm very very concise again..."

"I told you to get lost!"

So I quickly left there.  I had just turned the corner from the old buildings, when the apocalypse broke out behind me;

"THE THIEF IS HERE! GET THERE! THE POLICE! THERE IS A THIEF!"

"Hey! You... the woman with the bangs! Stop now!"

Running footsteps came closer and closer to me.

I tossed the beautiful emerald necklace into the air, which I held tightly in my palm, and began to oil the soles, doing what I knew best.
