2000 YEARS AGO
The soft footsteps of a hooded man barely made a sound in a dark hallway. The night was silent and calm despite the ongoing civil war in the entire kingdom.
The eerie silence was suddenly cut by the raspy voices of men. The hooded man, with quick steps; retreated into the shadows. In silence, he watched a group of five guards match past him. It was expected to see them there considering that the location was the royal castle of Dark Star.
As soon as the voices turned faint, the man continued on his pursuit. He walked for a little while and paused at a corner. Stretching his neck forward, he carefully peeped down the hall. No one was in sight, so he walked on—his senses still on high alert.
The man went down the hall and came to a closed steel door. He carefully turned his head sideways before pulling out a 14—inch golden key. With a swift turn of the key, the door clicked open. Inside were a line of torches that lit the passage brightly. The man locked the door behind him and made his way through the passage.
As he walked, he took care not to step on any of the blocks that triggered the traps. He came to a halt at a force field covering the end of the passage. The hooded man; after much thought, decided to walk through the force field. His decision consequently triggered an alarm. Knowing well enough that Gamarax Manipulators and Warriors were rushing to his position, the hooded had no choice but to hurry up and complete his mission before they got to him.
He walked into a room of gold, diamonds, rubies, silver and money. The man ignored it all and went further. He found himself staring at a pit of golden coins and without a second thought, he slowly made his way into it. He wadded his way through the coins until he came to another door. The hooded man got into the hidden room and was met with darkness. His beamed purple and with their new form, he was able to clearly see in the dark.
Another hidden door was revealed and it was quickly opened. Behold was a golden floating medallion in a glass case.
The medallion was round in form. In the center was a five star shaped diamond. At its tips were tiny red rubies. The whole medallion glowed bright red—perfectly illuminating the tiny room around it.
The hooded man smiled to himself and slowly picked up the glass case. He set it aside and marveled at the floating medallion. The man reached out for it and when his finger touched it, it stopped glowing.
That prompted him to reactivate his special night vision eyes.
The man jumped startled by the sound of guards in the treasure storage. It was only going to be a matter of time before they found him. He took the medallion out again and held it up high.
"Oh great and powerful wish granting Infinite Medallion, my only wish at this moment is that you get me out of here." he asked it. a faint light enveloped the medallion.
A bright light enveloped the medallion, engulfed the man now smiling to himself. Guards kicked down the door. The man disappeared out of the room right before their eyes. They remained roaring in anger.
The man found himself in the woods; miles away from the royal castle. Feeling triumphant, he smiled to himself and put the medallion back into his pocket. He was about to tear open a portal out of there when he heard a deep laugh.
A giant with long dark cow horns stepped out of the shadows. His coal—black webbed wings spread across and cast an intimidating shadow on the hooded man. It stood barf in its masculine physic while its cow like legs with powerful hooves rooted it to the ground. It grimly fixed its soul piercing eyes at the hooded man.
"You aren't thinking of taking the Infinite Medallion away from here, are you Dano?" the giant asked.
Dano took off his hood and his old warm eyes looked back at the giant. The purple and solid star birthmark of the Seers was clearly visible on his forehead.
"You know better than to come into darkas god territory, Beelzebub."
"I live by my own rules, Dano." Beelzebub grimly answered and let out his large hairy hand. "Hand over the medallion." Its beastly face cringed into a powerful scowl.
"Its power is far beyond your comprehension, Beelzebub. It has to be destroyed or else it will bring forth a war far greater than this one." Dano stepped back, protectively holding onto the pocket with the medallion.
"I am a fallen angel, you fool. I do not care for peace." Beelzebub stretched his hairy hand further towards Dano. "I will not ask you again." he threatened.
Dano turned to run but Beelzebub appeared in front of him and grabbed him by the neck. "Big mistake," Beelzebub grunted in annoyance.
Dano frantically kicked his legs in the air, trying with all his might to loosen Beelzebub's hold. "You will not be able to use the medallion. One of your subordinates will steal it from you before you get the chance." Dano sprayed out his prophesy.
Beelzebub stabbed Dano in the chest with his tail and Dano coughed out blood in his face. Beelzebub licked it off with a smirk. He plunged his tail deeper; completely forcing Dano's heart out through his back. It fell to the dusty ground with a plum. Beelzebub snatched the Infinite Medallion and threw the body hard against the tree. Grinning evilly, Beelzebub disappeared into thin air.
