There was a whirlwind of activities going on in the huge mansion which belongs to the El Salvador. It stood proudly at the center of the wide and spacious compound which housed several buildings in It, belonging to the white wolves clan.
Luciana sighed loudly, knowing this would be her last night in this building till whenever her parents dims it feet for her to return home. She wasn't even sure she'd be allowed in here anymore. Her eyes scanned the walls of her bedroom, the white walls looked so plain with nothing to complement it.
Her mother hadn't stepped foot in here since forever and it hurts her a lot. Her parents even stopped her brothers from coming to see her, yeah that's how pathetic her life is.
She walked into the bathroom, taking off her clothes as she stepped into the tub, letting the water Cascade over her body.
At twenty, she had full boobs, had a luscious backside and a good height yet she wasn't perfect for her parents. As at last year, some girls in the clan had their debut but here she was, lonely with no suitor coming in.
She heaved a sigh and stepped out of the tub before wrapping a towel around her chest. She walked into the room and saw a note in the center of her bed. Taking some steps towards the bed,she picked it up and glanced through it.
It read; get ready to leave tonight." She almost gasped, crushing the paper in her hands, wishing she had some sort of power, one which could change the mind of a person. According to everyone, she was a weakling,a disgrace to her parents and the clan.
She closed her eyes for a while, trying to calm her nerves until she was certain she wouldn't snap at anyone who dare's her.
She shrugged into her hoodie and slacks before looking around for the last time."I'll be back." She whispered and walked out of the room, walking briskly down the stairs.
"Here she is." Her mother, Larissa said as she forced a smile out. Her father sat on his chair going through some documents on the table as she stood rooted to her spot.
"Wallace!" He called gruffly, not taking his eyes off the documents. Luciana really wished he'd look at her with love or hate, either way she wanted his eyes on her but fate was playing a cruel role today.
"Lord." Wallace replied, running into the living room as he bowed slightly. "Take her to one of the abandoned house in Oklahoma, make sure you return after that. I can't spare even the least werewolf for her." He spat, venom lacing his speech.
"Bye Luciana" Lenato and Lorenzo said in unison, walking up the stairs as she followed Wallace out. She wanted to know how life outside the four walls of THE CREEK was,yet she missed her family.
She got into the car and Wallace took off,not even her mother came to say goodbye. Only her brothers waved from the top of the building.
Tears prickled her eyes and her chest felt so heavy. Why was fate so cruel to her? Why didn't she have a normal life like any other girl? The car's FM did nothing to ease her pain. She knows she'd miss being at home, miss talking to her mini mouse.
Her parents had her things packed before the news of her departure was delivered to her. The bitter tears washed down her cheeks as the car passed several streets.
Soon, they arrived at the airport in Texas. She alighted the car and without turning to look at her, Wallace began his journey into the airport. She knew he wasn't happy accompanying her to her destination but there's no disobeying her father. Everyone feared the her father, even the leaders of the black wolf clan.
"Good evening Miss El Salvador" The attendant greeted as Luciana jerked a little. How did this lady know her name? She looked into the lady's eyes and got her answer. A flash of silver ran through the woman's eyes before it turned normal.
"Oh evening." She replied but the lady was more concentrated on Wallace, sorting out her flight issues. "I hope she'll be in good hands." Wallace asked and the Lady nodded.
"I'll take my leave." With that,he turned and walked out, leaving her with the strange lady.
"Hello, excuse me, can_" the person walked past her as she sighed. It's been an hour since her flight landed and she's been finding it hard to get a place to stay.
Wallace just ditched her, leaving her to her fate. "Hello. Am new here, can I get the direction to this address?" She asked, sliding the piece of paper out of her pocket.
"Oh yeah. Come with me." The petite Lady said as Luciana thanked her stars. The lady from the airport had given her the piece of paper as soon as her flight was called.
They waved a cab and got in as she began to look around the beautiful city of Oklahoma.
"So,are you here to school or a job?" The woman asked, turning to look at her. "By the way am Celina and you?" She continued, stretching her hands as Judith took it in hers. "Luciana." She replied curtly, taking her eyes to the road.
"Oh I see you don't wanna to talk. It's alright." Celina said and Luciana was grateful for that. She didn't know the woman, didn't know who to trust. She was never given the opportunity to trust anyone, not even the maids in the house.
The cab came to a stop and they both alighted it. "I guess that's the house." Celina said, giving her a warm smile before heading to her place.
Luciana stared at the isolated house. It looked so old and it made her wonder why her parents decided to abandon her here. The house must have seen it's old days because it was standing close to the jungle, deserted and lonely.
She walked slowly to the door, wondering how she'd get in. She looked around and saw the key dangling beside the keyhole. She picked the key and fixed it into the keyhole before walking into the house.
She stood, mouth agape, staring at the interior part of the house. It looked nothing like the exterior part. Well furnished,a good living room and a nice stairs which leads up to the bedrooms.
She placed her luggages on the floor, walking around till she saw the kitchen. It looked so beautiful but who kept the house so neat? She asked herself, looking around until she saw Celina sitting on the couch.
"Wh_what? How did you get in here?" She asked, moving backwards as Celina smiled.
"Am your housekeeper. Directing you here was just my assignment. Feel at home." Celina said but the info didn't sit well with Luciana as she continued to scrutinize the woman.
"Who sent you here?" She asked as Celina chuckled. "The alpha of course. You don't need to worry, just go upstairs your room is the second on the right." Celina directed before disappearing into the kitchen.

THE TAVERN
Pungent smoke emitted from the werewolf who was burnt down by the clans Alpha, Lord Duncan He sat on his chair, reminiscing the event which led to the death of Mel,his late brothers favorite mistress.
His breath came out fast and sweat broke free from his brows. He'd sent her on a simple errand and she'd failed and in his clan, failure wasn't accepted.
Lycan walked into the basement, his eyes looking through the smoke until his eyes landed on Duncan.
"Lord Duncan. There's an intruder." Lycan said as Duncan raised his head up. His fingers dripped blood but it wasn't of any concern to him. The news before him was of more important and he was determined to get to the bottom of it.
"Where and when did the Intruders come in?" He asked as Lycan looked around. "She came in today, early hours of the morning." He replied and Duncan nodded.
"Damon!" He called lightly, looking cool but everyone present knew he was furious, even to the point of killing a baby.
The basement fell silent as some guards cleaned the mess up. Damon walked into the basement, his big tall frame occupying the area of the door as Lycan cowered backwards.
"You sent for me."his bold voice came out, resounding in the basement as Duncan nodded.
"There's an intruder in our land, make sure you find out if she's a spy,if she's human or has supernatural powers. Also find out her intention of coming here." He ordered as Damon inclined his head a little and walked out.
