Amelia stood before Alpha Gideon, her father, her fur shimmering under the moonlight like silver silk. Her eyes, a piercing shade of amber, reflected the wisdom of her spirit, while her sleek coat, a blend of charcoal and snow, spoke of her lineage as the alpha's daughter.

Her father noticed she was wrestling with her thoughts.

“Are you okay?”

“Yes, father.”

“I'm okay but nervous, father.”

“I can't believe you've grown so beautiful. It's a great evening, Amelia.”

“I get it.”

Both

“The moon gives you great peace when you smile.” They laughed.

The scent of pine and freshly fallen snow mingled in the crisp air as the members of the Silver Frost pack gathered in a circle, their breath visible in the chilly evening. There were so many figures late that evening in the areas and the pack house. It was cold and bright. Every werewolf in their form, howling. The full moon whispered such defense in their favor and every heartbeat of the members of Silver frost pack was at peace.

There stood Amelia, her heart pounding with nervous anticipation. Tonight, she was to be mated, a moment she had dreamed of since childhood. Different words coming from the pack members wondering who her mate would be.

“Phew.” She sighed nervously.

As the moon cast its silvery glow over the clearing, her father, Alpha Gideon, stepped forward, his majestic silver fur shimmering in the moonlight. "My fellow pack members," he began, his voice carrying a weight of authority, "tonight, we celebrate the union of two souls bound by fate."

Cheers erupted from the gathered wolves, their howls echoing through the night. A hush fell among the pack members as Alpha Gideon called her out.

“Amelia?” She walked out of her space and towards a man, eyes turned to the young alpha, his fur as black as the night sky, his gaze cold and unyielding. His might, sensed by every other member. His shade was like the knight of a kingdom leaving the rest in awe.

“Who is he?”

“Do you recognize him?”

She could hear murmurs from the gathering. Amelia's heart skipped a beat as she met his eyes, their gaze stiffened on each other. In the essence of intimidation, he was bigger. Amelia, hoping to find warmth in his arms and acceptance in his sight, met with something that shook all of the pack members

"I, Alpha Marcus, of the Midnight Moon, pack, hereby reject Amelia as my mate," he declared, his voice cutting through the silence like a blade.

“What!?”

Noise ran through the members, gasps of shock rippled through the crowd as Amelia staggered back, her world shattering around her.”No, no, no” She cried. Tears stung her eyes as humiliation and despair washed over her. Without a word, she turned and fled into the depths of the forest, her footsteps muffled by the blanket of snow.

Her Father's voice called after her, filled with concern and sorrow, but she paid it no heed. She had to get away, to escape the suffocating weight of rejection.

“Follow her!” A voice threw out.

Hours turned into days, and days into weeks, as Amelia wandered through the night, her spirit broken and her heart heavy with grief. Though her father and the members of the Silver Frost pack sent messages to the other packs that were allies, there was no sign of her

“Keep looking for her, she'll come back. She just needs some time out.” One said, comforting her Father who was devastated.

Months passed and Amelia was lost into the woods, no trace of her scent. It's like the earth was divided in two and she was not in the part the others were.

“Have you found her yet?”

“We've been looking everywhere, Alpha.

There's no sign of her.” Kai reported.

“Did you reach out to…”

“Everest fell park, Alpha Lockwood. Twilight wanderer, Frost Wind,Night howlers? I've reached out to them, Alpha.”

“I'll go myself this time.”

“Humbly Alpha, you can't leave. Our foes can sense the pack's vulnerability, so you can't leave.”

“Maybe you're right, the midnight noon pack is known.”

“I don't know why you seek her so much, she's grown up, not that little girl you locked up the last time we were at war.” A voice said from behind.

Growls

“Get out of my sight,Ambrose”

“Oh brother, you should take it easy.”Ambrose said, walking out and smiling mockingly.

“Ethan, gather the rest. We leave by nightfall.”

“Yes, Alpha.”

The young wolves giggled as they got called out, they loved the stroll with their Alpha.

“Leave nothing untouched, you slow your head's off.”

The dark moon park has been patrolling the areas, to get ready for any incoming war. Every pack member never leaves the pack, and no other pack member trespasses; they get killed. There are rumors going around that the Alpha's judgment is never forgiving.

They set out at nightfall, gathering every necessity. His dark eyes glowed as they walked through the woods.

Amelia trudged through the dense forest, her steps heavy with exhaustion. The moonlight barely filtered through the thick canopy, casting eerie shadows on the forest floor. She clutched her torn jacket tighter around her body, the chill of the night seeping into her bones.

“Ouch.” She cried.

As she stumbled over a gnarled root, pain shot up her ankle, but she gritted her teeth and kept moving. She had been wandering for months, keeping watch over herself as to not be found by anyone and the forest had become her only refuge.

Life has been cruel to her, she was thankful to the fruits of the trees, the cut down woods to keep her warm and the river that flows near the woods.

She sat one night, wondering how her father was doing but she couldn't make the choice to go back to her pack.

“I'm sorry father.” She said to herself.

Her fur glistered at the brightness of the moon. “I'm really sorry.”
