My name is Xiaomi, I'm going to be fifteen this year but I don't think it will make a difference anyway. My dad is usually not around, due to his job he's always traveling, all around the world but I'm hoping he makes it back in time for my birthday. So basically my family is my mom and my three brothers, elder brothers. My brothers try their very best to watch the guys around me, so at the age of fifteen I have never been in a relationship, well in an official one, but they try their best to make me happy. Today is the fifth of July, and my birthday is on the twenty fifth but I'm not feeling excited for it at all.

I wake up this morning and carry out my usual routine, brushing my teeth, having my bath and the others. After all that I look outside the window to check if my bestie, Li, is already outside waiting for me. I have two besties Li Xuan and Soo Yun, male and female. As of now I have no idea how this was going to change my life, but let's not spoil the fun. I leave for school with my two best friends; fun talks about what happened in school the previous day. I’m not really someone who is physically strong, financially strong or beautiful and those were the basic classification to be an elite in this society, we’ll according to my personal view. Li Xuan is amongst them, mainly because of his family’s wealth and he was also very handsome, but what do I know? I’m just fifteen. Soo Yun is a normal girl like I am, but is far more prettier than me. Well that’s our group, we sometimes call ourselves a gang, of what arm can a little imagination do?

Class is as boring as ever, but I’m in my last class in junior high so I was already dreaming of high school, I think it is a place of freedom, we’ll more freedom than junior high, a place to socialize, meet new people and finally have a boyfriend. Maybe I would finally be able to muster up courage to suggest that topic to my brothers, yes, the topic of a relationship, but I doubt they would allow. Li Xuan’s marriage was already planned so as to benefit the business [his family’s business], he practically had no say in the matter but that is soon to change; Soo Yun has plans of studying law after high school, her studies is her reason to live, her purpose, so she says. I on the other hand plan to study law also but to also dabble in various side activities so as to be learned in various aspects like becoming a chef, tailor/model, CEO and so on. I feel like you probably already get my point; to have a hand in various things all for financial gain.
