The night was steeped in inebriation, the lights dazzlingly brilliant, in a lavishly decorated hotel. Yu Xiaoxiao walked with a face of sorrow and bewilderment, along this opulent corridor beside her father, Yu Pinquan.

Her mother was seriously ill and needed a lot of money. They didn't have money. Her father mentioned a wealthy friend, from whom he could borrow the necessary funds to heal her mother. However, the condition attached was a single meeting with her.

Walking in this palace-like place at the moment, her heart sunk gradually, but she did not retreat.

Noticing the familiar figure ahead entering the elevator, a glimmer of contemplation flashed in the eyes of Wang Weiqi.

"Assistant Wang, please." The voice beside him jolted Wang Weiqi out of his thoughts. He turned and nodded to the person next to him, and the two walked into the elevator.

Arriving outside a door, two tall men stood nearby. Clad in dark suits, they exuded an intimidating aura, much like austere statues, causing Yu Xiaoxiao to feel scared.

Yu Pinquan smiled at the two men and said, "I’m here to see Brother Tai."

The men glanced at Yu Xiaoxiao, then opened the door. The moment it opened, a thick cloud of smoke greeted their senses, causing Yu Xiaoxiao to cough slightly.

"Brother Tai, we’re here." Yu Pinquan pulled Yu Xiaoxiao into the room. He gave a servile smile to a man sitting on a leather sofa, exuding an ominous air. He ended his sentence by lightly pushing Yu Xiaoxiao forward.

Yu Xiaoxiao looked up to see the man, sitting calmly, his eyes slightly squinted as he watched her while smoking silently. She felt a little anxious, but remembering her mother's illness, she knew she couldn't retreat. She was about to speak when the man suddenly stood up, dropped his cigarette in the ashtray, and croaked, "Keep the girl, you can go."

At first, Yu Pinquan didn't grasp Brother Tai's meaning and felt somewhat uneasy. However, hearing these words brightened his eyes, and he quickly agreed, "Yes, yes, yes."

Yu Xiaoxiao looked at Brother Tai in confusion, then at Yu Pinquan, her eyes filled with questions.

Ignoring Yu Xiaoxiao's questions, Yu Pinquan's face was filled with joy. He soothingly said to Yu Xiaoxiao, "Xiaoxiao, listen to Brother Tai in the future, Daddy's leaving first." After saying this, he rubbed his hands hastily and walked out before she could respond.

A sudden sense of unease filled Yu Xiaoxiao's heart. She rushed after Yu Pinquan, calling out non-stop, "Father, wait!"

However, as if he didn't hear her, he quickened his pace and exited the room. Just as she was about to follow him out, two towering figures blocked her way. Filled with desperation, she began to yell, "Dad, don't leave..."

Suddenly, with a bang, the door was shut. Yu Xiaoxiao finally turned to look at the man in the sofa. Her eyes flashed with confusion, disbelief, and above all, fear of the unknown future.

"You won't be leaving once you enter here." Tyson exhaled a puff of smoke and said blandly, a trace of obvious sarcasm in his tone.

"What do you mean?" A plausible answer pulsated within her, but she dared not ponder over it. She cast it aside, choosing to believe in something else.

"Heh." The man chuckled coldly, eyeing Yu Xiaoxiao with icy regard. His thin lips curled up into a sneer as he cruelly uttered, "You've been sold. And you," pausing briefly to wash his gaze over her, finally settling on her slightly pale face, he added, "now belong to me."

"No, impossible." Yu Xiaoxiao stumbled backwards, the glimmer of hope in her eyes instantly shattered. She scrambled toward the door, mumbling incoherently. Her voice grew louder and more agitated, echoing from the obstructing wall. "Impossible, you're lying! I am his daughter, he could never do this! No..."

Tyson furrowed his eyebrows, gesturing to the man blocking Yu Xiaoxiao. The man nodded, reached out, and suddenly, Yu Xiaoxiao felt a stabbing pain in her neck before everything went black.

"Clunk, clunk, clunk."

Tyson glanced at the door and signaled to the two men. One opened the door while the other hoisted an unconscious Yu Xiaoxiao over his shoulder and strode out.

Wang Wei walked over to the private room, to which Tyson quickly stood and greeted with a polite smile, "Assistant Wang, what brings you here?"

Wang Wei returned his nod, stepped forward, and shook his hand. "I have a favor to ask," he said warmly.

"Go ahead," Tyson replied, gesturing to the sofa next to them.

Sitting on the couch, Wang Wei spoke, "President Guan needs a clean woman."

"What kind?" Women were abundant here, but it ultimately depended on what precisely Guan Shenfu desired.

"The one just now." Wang Wei glanced at the door. He came here for business today, but never expected to encounter Yu Xiaoxiao. Moreover, she was sold. He tapped his fingers against his knee, contemplating that she seemed to be exactly what Guan Shenfu currently needed.

"When does he need her?" Surprise flickered in Tyson’s eyes, but it quickly faded away.

"Today."

"I'll arrange it."

"Alright, please give me a copy of the data."

"No problem."

"I'll give you the check tomorrow."

"You are too polite."

"It's my duty."
