The muddy track, fresh from a heavy rain, was filled with a sickening stench.
Linita Odell was lying in the mud like a corpse. She could barely see out of her seriously injured eyes. Staring at the noble woman who stood before her like a princess, she asked, "You already took everything from me. Why can't you just kill me?"
After being imprisoned for three years, her voice became extremely hoarse. Her original enchanting and beautiful face was covered with scars left by acid corrosion. It was all because of the woman in front of her.
"Because Grandpa's will says that if you die, all the possessions of the Odell family go to charity. We have to keep you alive!
"Sister, don't you like to see me? But I do enjoy seeing you, especially your tears! The more you suffer, the happier I am!"
Goth Odell lowered her eyes and looked at Linita, who was lying alone in the muddy water, with a smile.
Who would have thought that Linita, as lowly as an ant now, had driven her mad with jealousy three years ago?
"You killed my grandpa and brother, and forced me to divorce Edrick the day after I married him. Isn't that enough? What else do you want? I don't think I've offended you. Why do you keep pushing me!" Linita's eyes were full of scars. She opened her eyes wide, trying to see the crazy woman.
"Because you're the eldest daughter of the Odell family and I hate you! Grandpa, Garon... They all show partiality to you!
"Why can you marry Mr. Forkey without any effort? Even after I kicked you out of the Forkey family, he won't even look at me!" Goth said, squatting down and deliberately waving the knife in front of Linita's face.

The pain on the neck made Goth lose her mind. She kept waving the blade and stabbed Linita.

"Bang, bang, bang!" After three gunshots, Linita felt the bullet passing through her body. She clearly felt that her life was coming to an end, eyes crossed with relief.

After a long time, Linita felt her body turning from extremely cold to burning hot. She looked up and heard a man's heavy breath.
