Valerie walked out of her boss’s private elevator she had access to. Stepping onto the carpeted floor of a foyer she stepped out of her black high heels and rang the door-bell.
She heard some commotion inside. Ringing the door-bell again she called out
“Mr Jaxon! It's Valerie I’m outside your door you have that shareholder meeting to attend.”
The lock disengaged and the door slowly opened.
“Mr Jaxon we are running late for the-” She stopped with her eyes wide open
She was staring into the barrel of a gun.
A powerful force pushed her into the apartment and a bang shut the door behind her. Two men in ski-masks rushed towards her. One men grabbed hold of her arms and secured them behind her with hand-cuffs. While the other rummaged through her bag, She struggled to get free but instantly froze when one shoved a gun barrel at her neck.
The metal was cold on her racing pulse.
They pointed at her old identity card at her saying
“Are you Valerie Solomon?” a cold voice said
She didn’t answer.
“Are you Valerie Solomon?” the voice repeated louder
She nodded.
The man motioned for them to get moving.
Valerie screamed and struggled until one of them shoved a cloth smelling of fumes over her mouth.
It wasn’t long till her world slowly faded into darkness…
Dominic jogged to the private elevator he paused and saw Valerie’s car parked next to the elevator.
He hurried to the elevator and closed the door. Walking out he saw his front door wide open and the emergency staircase door was ajar. Running into the apartment he recognized Valerie’s handbag and her belongings strewn across the floor. Turning around he then saw her black high heels on the shoe rack.
Picking up her ID card he then stared at it with wide eyes.
Valerie wasn’t Valerie Chase she was Valerie Solomon…
Running to his office he then unlocked the security footage after running through the footage he then dialed 911.
After getting off the phone with the officer his phone rang. It was an unknown number. Answering it a raspy voice said
“We have Valerie Solomon you have an hour to arrive with the hard drive. You know where, Valerie’s life is an hourglass.” there was a muffled scream coming from the speaker phone.
“Is she bleeding to death?” Dominic yelled into the phone
“Bleeding is a strong word lets just say there are drops of crimson like the sand of an hourglass.” the voice said again then hung up…
