"Miss, the bid inside has risen to 5.3 billion US dollars. Shall we start bidding now?"

In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel’s glittering banquet hall, a J.M Luxury Goods Ltd. auction is underway. The company has been poorly managed in recent years, experiencing consecutive losses, and finally declared bankruptcy six months ago.

As a result, individuals from around the world who have shown interest in J.M have rushed to Kuala Lumpur in hopes of successfully winning the auction. Once, J.M was one of the world's top luxury goods companies.

However, Dave Stone is not merely interested in J.M, she is determined to get it. This is the only last wish of her deceased husband.

Out in the hallway outside the banquet hall, Dave Stone leans against the corner wall. In a full black outfit; black trousers, black high-heeled shoes, and a black hat on her head, the falling black veil obscures everything above her nose, leaving only her seductive red lips visible.

"No rush, we haven't hit rock bottom yet," Dave Stone inhales a mouthful of Cigar from her fingertips. She then gazes at her assistant, Kyle through the blue and white smoke, and speaks in a light tone, her ethereal voice scattering like the lingering smoke.

"Mr. Stone , what is your bottom line price?" Kyle looks at the seemingly emotionless woman in front of him. She is only twenty-seven, but her maturity and tact are comparable to that of his forty-five-year-old boss.

Dave Stone slightly tugs the corner of her lip and smiles faintly, "Let's go, let's see."

"Okay." Daniel agrees, following Dave Stone

toward the auction hall.

"5.8 billion, number 66 has bid 5.8 billion."

"5.9 billion."

"6 billion."

"6.5 billion."

"Okay, someone bids 6.5 billion. I saw number 78 bidding 6.5 billion. Anyone willing to bid higher than 6.5 billion?"

"6.6 billion."

"6.8 billion."

"Again number 78 bids 6.8 billion, does anyone want to go higher than 6.8 billion?"

"6.9 billion."

"7 billion."

"My goodness, number 78, bidder number 78 bids 7 billion, 7 billion! Is there anyone willing to go higher than 7 billion?"

"Boss Stone ..." Standing under the pillar at the entrance, Kyle looked at Dave Stone , who had yet to react. The tightness in his heart increased as he knew well that J.M was the lingering pain in his boss, Damian Smith heart for nearly twenty years.

Standing there, a slender jade-like fingertip held the partly burnt cigar. Dave Stone

turned to the man beside him, Kyle Damian is no longer around, now I am your boss."

Kyle looked at Dave Smith , the widow who had been doted on by his boss for five years. He didn't say another word, but his eyebrows tensed.

"Any higher than 7 billion? Is anyone willing to bid higher than 7 billion?"

"7 billion for the first time, 7 billion for the second time,..."

"7.5 billion."

Just before the third gavel was about to strike at the auction stage, a clear and resounding female voice rung out. It echoed throughout the entire hall, and all eyes in the startled banquet hall turned toward the direction of the voice.

"Who is she? Was that her who called the price just now?"

"What's this woman's background? Which company does she represent?"

"Where did this woman come from? How come I've never seen her before."

"Bidding 7.5 billion, she's ruthless. Does she even understand the situation? A bankrupt company

worth 7.5 billion?"

......

As everyone was chattering away, the man holding paddle number 78 snapped back to reality and turned to the man next to him, "President , 7.5 billion, should we continue bidding?"

Stone Damian looked at the woman in black attire at the porch about twenty to thirty meters away, against the radiant sky. His deep, black eyes darkened abruptly. The next second, he stood up and strode toward the door.

"Oh my god, 7.5 billion, is there anyone who can bid higher than that?"

"7.5 billion once, 7.5 billion twice, 7.5 billion three times..."

"You handle the rest," he instructed Daniel indifferently. Then,

Dave

, wearing her seven to eight-centimeter black high heels, strode off.

"President Woods, why are you in such a hurry?"

Just as Dave left the auction hall and walked through a long hallway toward the elevator, a figure, all too familiar yet eerily strangers, blocked her path.

What are you doing? , She asked.

Just as her bodyguard was about to step forward, Dave raised her hand to stop him and instructed casually, Go down and wait for me .

The bodyguard looked at Dave , hesitated for a moment with a frown but obediently nodded and left.

Dave Stone, oh no, President Stone , long time no see, I hope you've been well!" As soon as the bodyguard left, Mr Jayden Woods took a step forward, his body nearly touching Dave' s. His deep, black eyes stared at her steadily, his voice huskily murmured, a flash of crimson in his eyes.

Dave laughed, pivoting her head away and putting the cigarette between her lips, taking a deep puff. Then, she stayed motionless there, the blue-white smoke wafting through her lungs and spouting from her mouth and nostrils, only to be spewed onto Jayden's face, "Mr. Wood, your wife is calling you home for dinner!"

With those words, she produced a coquettish smile and then, passed Jayden Wood leaving him with an enticing languid stride.

However, after only two steps, her wrist was grabbed and then her entire body was thrown against the wall, oppressed by a robust figure.

Dave , where have you been these five years?" he thought she was dead.

Facing the man whose eyebrows were even colder than they were five years ago, Dave laughed, her smile was engaging and charming, "So, Mr Wood, you've been thinking about me? Is Mrs. Wood not satisfying you?"

Jayden Wood , staring at the woman in front of him, who was stunningly charming, could not figure out her emotions, only pressing against her more firmly. His head leaned in close, their breaths intertwined, and he growled, word by word, "Dave, don't forget, you were once Mrs. Woods."

"Heh..." Jayden Wood, Dave Stone laughed, like hearing the funniest joke in the world, but in the next second, her face changed, grim and startling, "Mr. Wood, if you continue pressing me, I might start to scream."

"Dave,..."

"Mr. Wood, if I scream, what do you think will happen?" Suddenly, Dave laughed brightly again.

Jayden Wood faced an unfamiliar Dave that surprised him; he slowly let go of her and reverted to his usual cool, cold noble demeanor, murmuring, "Dave, our game begins again today."

Dave responded with a bright smile, "Alright, Mr. Wood, this time, I'll play along until the very end!"

After she spoke, she turned and departed just as gracefully and distractingly as before.

Arriving at the entrance of the hotel downstairs, her bodyguard had already opened the car door for her.

Dave bent over and sat straight in.

As soon as she got in, a four or five-year-old boy as lovely as a porcelain doll plunged into her arms, hugging her neck, Mummy , Are you done? Can we go home now? He said.

Dave smiled, raising her hand to stroke her son's hair, "Mm, it's done, we're going home now."

"Huh, Mom, who is that man? Why does he look so much like me?"

Hearing her son's voice, Dave tilted her head. Through the immaculate car window, at a glance, she saw a man striding out of the hotel.

If that isn't Jayden Woods who could it be?

"Scumbag."

"Mom, is he called Scumbag?"

"Yes, He is called Scumbag, darling .
