She is pregnant.

Shi Xiaonuan holds her hospital report, covering her mouth as she sobs quietly.

Her husband, Shen Qingming, was her sweetheart from college days.

He was good to her, but ever since they got married a year ago, he never once touched her.

He said he had issues in that area of their relationship and treated her much colder since their marriage. Despite all this, because of her love for him, she chose to wait.

But she never imagined, after getting drunk last month and accidentally being entangled, she is now expecting.

Could this be the blessing from above that she has waited for so long? Only heaven knows.

Overwhelmed by excitement, Shi Xiaonuan rushes to the clubhouse. Today is the weekend, a typical day when Qingming would be in a private room drinking tea.

"Qingming, I have good news, I'm pregnant!"

With key in hand, Shi Xiaonuan pushes open the door to the resting room of the club.

All over the floor of the resting room were scattered clothes and the air is filled with a luxurious ambiance.

She freezes on the spot, staring in shock at the two men entangled on the bed, their bodies totally naked.

Hearing the door open, the two men finally separate.

Shen Qingming, his upper body bare and slightly overweight, rises from the bed, "Shi Xiaonuan, weren't you out shopping? How did you come back so early?"

Sweat trickles down his chest as if he's saying the most ordinary words.

A loud bang echoed inside Shi Xiaonuan's mind as she looked at the man behind Shen Qingming.

The man was an employee of Shen Qingming's company and often came to their house for dinner.

But she never expected that her husband, of all people, was involved with another man.

"Shen Qingming, do you know what you're doing? You're actually with another man..."

Shi Xiaonuan pointed at Shen Qingming, her voice trembling.

Shen Qingming walked up to Shi Xiaonuan, "What's the matter, are you angry? Then tell me, I never touched you, where did this baby of yours come from, Shi Xiaonuan? How dare you deceive me and make a cuckold of me!"

Shi Xiaonuan stood stiffly on the spot, "Qingming, what are you talking about? The baby I'm pregnant with is naturally yours!"

Shen Qingming suddenly raised his hand and gave Shi Xiaonuan a heavy slap on the face.

"I don't care what relationship you have with your lover, but you must abort this child, or get out with your bastard child!"

The sharp pain in her cheek was unbearable, Shi Xiaonuan couldn't believe what was happening.

"Shen Qingming, I didn't betray you. It's clearly you who found a man behind my back. Or perhaps, you've used me all along as a cover!"

He used to pamper her and even brought her breakfast for several months in a row, taking care of her meticulously.

She thought the man before her was the one she was going to spend her life with.

But thinking about it now, it was incredibly laughable.

"Even if I like men, you're still my wife right now, Shi Xiaonuan, are you really that cheap?" Shen Qingming sneered.

Tears welled up in Shi Xiaonuan's eyes. "So, you've been lying to me from the start. You don't have 'that' problem, you have just never wanted to touch me!"

Shen Qingming gently caressed Shi Xiaonuan's face, "Don't say it like that. I do have some feelings for you. But, it's not an excuse for you to betray me!"

Shi Xiaonuan shoved Shen Qingming away, she had never felt so disgusted.

She had never betrayed him, yet he doubted her.

"Don't touch me!"

"Shi Xiaonuan, never forget you are my wife. If you are so desperate for affection, then let me satisfy you! It wouldn't hurt to toy with a woman once in a while!"

Shen Qingming grabbed hold of Shi Xiaonuan, his hand clenching around her neck, violently tearing her clothes.
