The atmosphere was tense, and the metallic smell of blood filled the air. Even though there was a heavy downpour of cold rain and most people in the hall were wet, everyone present were all sweaty. No one dared to move or make a sound, some even held their breath. Their leader was enraged, the flames in his eyes said it all.
Everyone just stood still, dripping from being wet in the rain, and at the same time extremely sweaty. The fight had been really tough and almost everyone had blood stains on their body. It had been a difficult battle and they had lost again. But their leader wasn't just angry because they lost, he was angry because someone from their clan betrayed them.
The person and the reason for their boss' enraged state knelt weakly in the middle of the hall, wet all over, with blood stains on her body.
Lucien broke the first glass, and then the second. It was obvious how mad he was.
"GET RID OF HER!" He said in a heartless tone after breaking many more glass.
"No, No, I'm really sorry. I made a mistake, this won't happen again," the lady pleaded in tears as she was being tied.
The man who gave the order didn't show any sign of hearing the lady's plea. Instead, he walked to the table and poured himself a glass of wine. He drank the wine in a single gulp and threw the glass towards the lady. The glass shattered in front of a the lady and a few pieces marked her skin. The boss was really angry this time. He only got this angry when the vampires captured one of them. But now, not only did the vampires take Channon, this lady, Bleddyn, had betrayed the lycan's clan.
Bleddyn was about to be taken away when a man entered.
"WAIT!" The man who had just entered said and the men holding Bleddyn stopped.
"Lucien, you really don't have to get rid of her," the man who had just entered by the name, Lathan said.
Lucien made no reply. He stood on a spot and a light breeze blew up his robe. His long hair was still dripping and his face still had that killer look.
"How about you punish her? I agreed she did the wrong thing, but she coukd still be given another chance."
Lathan was the second-in-command after Lucien. He was the only one who could talk to Lucien at this point and was also family to Lucien, his cousin to be precise.
Lucien said nothing. He picked up a glass again and squeezed it hard.
"Lucien, this changes nothing. Right now, we have to look for a way to save Channon and you can lock Bleddyn up as her punishment," Lathan said. He didn't get close to Lucien, he knew more than to do that when Lucien was extremely mad.
"Lock her up," the tone of Lucien's voice was as cold as ever.

Midway,
Morning.
Everyone's faces were blur. The fight continued, more slashing, more biting, more screaming. Blood spilled everywhere. It soaked the grpund like rain and the atmosphere was scary. In the midst of it all, a lady was running.
GRRR!!!
The sound of the alarm clock woke Calina up from her world of dreams. It happened again, the same dream she had on the night her parent died and the same one that had been scaring her. It sure had a meaning, she had to find out.
Calina sat up and wiped the beads of sweat that had formed on her fore head. She placed her legs down gently and wore her slipper. It was going to be another stressful day. She made her bed and entered the bathroom to get dressed up for work.
It was four minutes after seven when Calina sat down to have breakfast. She had only taken a bite from her waffle when her phone rang. It was her boss calling, so she immediately picked it up.
"Good mor..."
"Hey leech! I have an early morning shoot, will you hurry up?" The voice was as sassy as ever.
"Ok boss, I.."
The call dropped.
Calina drew in a deep breath and drank her tea in four gulps before she hurriedly left to catch the bus.

"You still managed to arrive late. Are you doing all this on purpose because you're jealous of my status? Do you really have to be so envious of me?" Calina's boss Shirley asked immediately Calina arrived.
"I'm really sorry. I had to take the bus and..." Calina was interrupted again.
"Take the train for all I care. You always come up with flimsy excuses for not doing your job well. And when are you never not sorry? You irk me so much," Shirley said with a disgusted look on her face.
Shirley always found a way to pick on Calina that it had stopped bothering Calina long ago. She was mean to Calina and treated her like waste.
"I even have to get a replacement soon. Someone like you isn't fit to be my assistant," Shirley said as she and Calina walked to the dressing room.
Calina had no reactions. She carried Shirley's bag and kit and was prepared for a day full of errands.

The cold handsome figure was seated on his chair and was on a phone call. He looked different with his jet black hair coiffed to perfection except that he still radiated that cold regal-like aura. He happened to be most famous and wealthy man in the country and also the leader of the lycan's clan, Lucien Luther.
"Leave it to me," Lathan voice was heard from the other end of the phone.
"Mmm" Lucien hung up and placed the phone on his desk.
His assistant by name Walter came in.
"It's time sir," The gentle looking guy said.
Lucien picked up his phone, stood up and wore his suit jacket.
He and Walter walked out of the office.

The young lady sat elegantly and took gentle sips from her wine as she waited. She took a glance at her watch and raised her head to meet two dark spell-binding eyes.
"Lucien, you're here," the lady said and stood up. "I've been waiting," she said and wanted to touch Lucien who immediately avoided her.
"The contract ends today," Lucien saud and Walter brought out a document.
"What contract?" The lady appeared surprised.
"Whatever relationship we had ends today," Lucien said with no emotions on his face.
"W-What?" The lady asked.
Walter handed a documemt to her.
The lady scanned it and then tore it into two. "This...doesn't count," she said. "How could you compare what we share to just a piece of paper?" She asked and threw the paper away.
"We shared nothing," Lucien said.
"Lu-Lucien, how could you say that?" She asked.
"I think we got too close for you to speak so informally to me," Lucuen said.
"W..A...," words weren't coming.
"You can't just end our relationship like that," the lady finally found what to say.
"I actually can," Lucien said and turned...
Calina carried a tray of coffee and some other snacks. She was on a call and placed her phone in between her head and shoulder.
"I'm coming with your coffee already...I got the snacks...No, they ran out of fries...." She wasn't looking at where she was going when she bumped into something...OR SOMEONE.
"I am so sor..." the words got stuck when Calina's eyes met with those of the person she had bumped into. OMG! What had she done?
