Those red eyes that glow like blood; vampires! ''No. . . Mom!'' They wore cloaks and there's only a few of them present. It seems like one of them is from a noble family. The one from the middle who just look at his men-how they do their work. Alcina looks at them from the distance, unable to do anything. Tears flow from the corner of her eyes uncontrollably while her hands cover her brother's mouth, trying to shut him up in case he'll make a loud noise.

Due to the sudden invading of vampires in their village, they're only half prepared. It's been half a year since their last attack and so they didn't expect it coming. The Etana Family has been Vampire hunters for a century and so Alcina Etana inherited the blood of hunters. With the chaos on the outside, her mother used it as an opportunity to hide the both of them inside the closet since vampires have come to extinguish their small village. ''Alcina, live for us! Revenge for us,'' the last word her mother said to her while they're preparing to go outside and help their fellow blood hunters.

Sharp fangs, red intimidating eyes, pale skins; she will never forget those. Disgusting! She witnessed how her mother and father were slaughtered by vampires as they lost their last breath in front of her. The source of holy water decreased these past few days and it might be caused by vampires' reason for their people to lose their power.

The village she grew up with, has fully become a blood land. No humans were found walking; living things fully vanished. Only the two of them survived. There will be time for everything, even for her revenge!

She was awakened by the noises made by the group of human girls talking about how much they fancy their so called-prince. Right. Most humans in the village in their legal age are permitted to go and study on the vampire's territory. There's no way she could survive without any knowledge and so she studied at the only Academy which contains a group of vampires and humans. However, there's a boundary on everything. Not because humans are united with vampires doesn't mean they don't look at each other as enemies. Or maybe she's the only one. . .

Realizing there's a small drop of tear in the corner of her eyes, she instantly wipes it off without anyone looking. She has dreamed about what happened 10 years ago again. . . Her greatest nightmare, perhaps. It takes time before she composed herself as she wanders her eyes on her surrounding. The same as usual.

Hearing again how her classmates enjoy it being sucked their blood by the HANDSOME prince, makes her want to vomit. What a bunch of people willing to fall! They don't understand where they are standing and they can't hear what they are talking about, isn't it? We are talking about vampires here! They're just monster who wants to gather their prey by making a University for everyone! What a ridiculous idea. She left a sigh, knowing she can't just tell it out loud or her death would be too easy.

She stood up in her seat walking towards the exit while she was in her deep thought. Not too long before she realized that one of her classmates has called her twice. ''Ah. . .'' Her coldness and lifeless expression made everyone stay away from her. She more looks like a vampire now than anyone else. It's been a long time since she last saw her brother. She missed her so bad that made her not in the mood to eat.

''Hey!'' Another call interrupted her again from her thought. ''Could you please help me take these books from the library?'' Without realizing it, she accepted it but now she was back in her thought again and now she just recalled that this place is more like a maze with its huge and constant buildings. She looks around and found herself lost. Not again! She waited for someone to pass her way and tell her the direction of the library and get back to where she is supposed to go.

With someone's help, she just found it. She entered the extremely huge library with stairs on it. It was her first time coming here. the atmosphere are dark and murky. She feels her skin shivers every step she take. ''Heh? Another one?'' A man in front, facing the window that makes her only see the shadow. However, she will never mistake those eyes! Vampire!

She drops the books from her embrace as she run as fast as she could. She noticed bodies on the floor as well just now. Did he just drink human blood in daylight? Why, why should she see those kinds of things. . . Her legs are trembling and her heartbeat increased. Aren't there are rules that vampires can only go out at night to ease human worry? If he could do it at daylight. . . Could he be, the prince? He is!

Alcina was yanked from the hair before she could do a u-turn as she falls on the floor painfully. ''Courageous little one. No one has ever dared to ignore me.'' She spare a glance at his face and found his eyes were golden yellow. But, he's still a hungry beast not long ago! Those red eyes will only appear if they long for blood. However, she has to get away from him right now before it turns into crimson red. ''Let go of me!'' She feels nauseous just thinking of his dirty hands touching her bare skin.

He was on top of her, sparing her a playful glare. No one could read what he was thinking right now. While holding her arms by his one hand, he indefinitely touched her jaw. Her eyes can't be seen easily due to the fact that it was covered by her long hair and she didn't dare to cut it out. He probably can't see how scared she was right now. . . ''Pretending to be high-class just to get close to me aren't you?'' His voice was scornfully prideful as he brushed away her hair that covered her eyes as it reveal green-colored like nature eyes.

''No, I won't dare. . .'' She stammered. Vampires love to see how much humans fear them. He was probably enjoying the show right now. Her heart beats rapidly right after his hand falls in her legs. Before it could go higher, she tried to move her legs and her body; resisting everything he does. ''Quit quibbling. I have seen many people like you.''

His face jumps down her flawless neck as he sniffs it, moving the small strand of her hair that is blocking his view. ''Your smell is not bad.'' A corner of his lips twitched as he smirked evilly. ''Stop! Don't. . .'' How come she ends up in the same place where the prince enjoys his feast? This is torture! His voice is either cold or sexy that could make people's bristle stand upright like what the rumors said. But, she won't fall for it! Vampires will be vampires. And human will always be their prey.

''Quit creating unnecessary resistance,'' His eyes slowly turn into orange until they fully became crimson red. ''Now, you must be grateful that you are lucky to be sucked by me, the prince. You can show off for a long time right?'' He inquired as his red eyes lit up like it was the only color in her surrounding. Witnessing those, she recalled the red eyes in black cloaks who killed her parents 10 years ago. The eyes didn't even spare a single blink after slashing her mother's throat.

Her eyes feel like they vibrated and the sudden ache in her heart came. Tears fall from the corner of her eyes as she put all her strength in one blow to get out from his arms. She slapped him hard on the face as her nail touch his bare skin reason for it to bleed a little bit. Bloods. No. . . This can't be! ''How rigid! Now you completely made me extremely angry!'' His face turns dark as he revealed his fangs. He force her to stand up as he grabbed her until they arrive at the highest point of the University building where everyone could see them.

''Everyone! The prince has something to announce so listen!'' He pull Alcina's arm up and announced that she will be his slave who deserves no mercy. People's started to wonder who on earth doesn't know the rules of not making the prince angry. ''She will be titled as the 'slave of the prince' until I'm fully satisfied and stop!'' He as well declare to never forget her face that made everyone look at her carefully and subsequently release criticisms. Unfortunate one to offend the prince, Ceasar Obreo. She falls to the floor and it feels like her world just collapsed. Words were choked in her mouth and her lips were trembling so badly.

The world where vampires and humans coexist. However, humans like her are destined to be despised objects from the day they are defeated.
