CHAPTER 1

"I'm breaking up with you" I said complacently and directly to Liam. As far as I know he is the 22nd on my ex's list. Tss. F*ck them. They know nothing at all but to cheat. They would have done nothing beautiful if not the girl. They’re all just like my Daddy, after using you and make you cry they will just leave you like nothing happens.

"Liv, please tell me. Did you ever love me too?" a sad question from Liam.

"Why do you want to know?" I grinned and looked straight at him. "No. I didn't love you

I was not surprised when he suddenly turned around and left completely.

As of now, I am here on the field and waiting for my friend Tazanna. I don't know where that bitch went again.

"Liv!" shout a familiar voice from behind me.

"It's good that you're here, Tazanna Ocampo" she is my best friend, my childhood friend as well.

"Wait a minute, let's go to the locker first" said Tazanna.

"what? We are not going to do that. Let's go straight to the sideout "

"Are you serious about that? Are you going to play with your pink sandals?" I looked at my footwear and it was right that I had to change first.

"I said let's go, hehe"

"Hurry up and change, beautiful people like me are not allowed to wait for so long" I heard Tazanna shout and she filled the whole female room. I ignored her and entered one of the cubicles.

When I came out, I found Tazanna taking a picture of herself from the mirror.

"There, you're good there. You like to take selfies, I'm better than you" I said jokingly. She ignored me and instead put her cellphone in her bag.

As we walk down the hallway, you will see different types of students outside their respective classrooms. I was just blown away by the wind when I saw the two freshmen sweet too much at each other. Eww.

"OMG !! He entered the sidedout. Don't tell me he's also a player" I turned to my best friend after he shouted for no apparent reason.

"Huh? Who else?"

"The new student. Transfery from Korea" she excitedly said.

She walked quickly and entered the sideout first so I chased her. As we entered Coach Fred greeted us.

Tazanna and I stopped and were ready to preach.

"You two are more than ten minutes late." he said seriously.

"Sorry coach" Tazanna and I said at the same time.

"I'll give you the SOP later. Arrange yourself before entering. Is that clear?"

"Yes coach!" Tazanna and I answered once again.

“I will be the first to play” she said.

"But-" I didn't finish what I was about to say when she suddenly put his hand in my mouth.

"No, buts" she said and went straight to the court "Just wait there and watch how well I play" she said sarcastically.

I took my tumbler out of the side pocket of my bag to drink. I saw a mystic and handsome man approaching on my place . "Hey" he greeted me as he approached.

"hey hehe"

"May I sit next to you?" he asked and pointed to the vacant seat next to me.

"Sure" I answered him and smiled.

He even came up to me and sat down next to me. I could smell her expensive perfume.

"How long have you been playing" I turned to him but he still looked straight at the players.

"It's been a long time" I replied and watched the players as he did.

"Ah, I see." he said sparingly.

"River!" we both looked at the source of that shout and I saw the man standing at the entrance of Sideout as he waved his right hand towards us to be seen by what he called River.

I looked at the person next to me when he suddenly stood up and was about to walk away when he suddenly stopped and turned to me.

"What's your name, by the way?" he asked.

"I am Trix" he held out his hand to me and I accepted it and we shook hands.

"Nice meeting you, Trix" he said and smiled so I smiled at him too. "I'll be there first, see you when I see you"
