Atlas is currently in the company since he is meeting with investors from the United States and must deal with them directly. Three major businesspeople are interested in investing in his company. Investors are wary of speaking with him because his company is well-known throughout the world, including Asia.

"I've heard so much about you, Mr. Hatchway," a bald American replied, "and we are really grateful that you gave us so much of your time."

“ It's also my pleasure that you had all the effort to travel today from the US to come here just for my company.” I said. They all smiled.

“All right, I've read everything about your company and how it's operating well. So everything is settled then. " I said.

And I laid the contract for the three of them on the table. I gave them each one by one for permanence. Two minutes later, we were done, and the three of them stood up. "Thank you so much, Mr. Hatchway."

They shook hands with me, and my secretary accompanied them out of the meeting room. I was left sitting in the swivel chair inside the room.

I get married in three months' time. Cathaliya Brooklyn was my girlfriend for six years. I proposed marriage since I was so sure that she was the woman I wanted to spend my life with. I didn't love her because of the wealth she had, but I loved her. That's what my heart beats for. And I don't want her to be with anyone else, I want her for myself. My phone rang on the table. I answered it.

"Hello, sweetheart, how's the meeting?" she asked me on the other line.

"Everything is perfect, sweetheart." My response.

"Why were you called suddenly?" I asked.

"To check you out because I suddenly felt nervous." She told me.

"Relax, everything is under control." I said.

She is aware of people who hate me, so I can't help but worry because now I'm going to start a family.

I don’t want them to get involved in the mess my business opponent will make.

"Avoid worrying, sweetheart; I'll take care of everything." I said.

"All right, I love you." She says. "I love you too." My response.

And he was dropping the call. I gasped. But I always have a body guard watching over me, so we are safe just in case. I can’t quite imagine that there are people who do wrong for their own good. I have received many death threats, but so far they have not taken any action. I got up and went back to my office. When I entered, someone was waiting for me in my office. My father, I grew up in a broken family. My parents separated when I was 18 years old. They now have a family of their own. Their marriage didn’t work out because it was a fixed marriage.

I accepted the separation of the two of them, even against my will. So now they just take turns visiting me. I'm thirty-nine years old now, so I don't need the care of a parent. They wanted to separate so they could live peacefully not together.

“Did you get a visit, Dad? Is there a problem?” I asked him.

I still consider the two of them to be as casual because I understand them. Who else would settle for each other if they hadn't been able to love each other for 18 years? I sat on the couch and faced my dad. A business tycoon who, even with white hair, is still handsome. I don't know what's wrong with my mommy's husband now that my daddy doesn't have it. My mother didn't felt love towards my father. I’m just confused how they made me if they didn’t love each other? It just means that they are not really fated to be together.

"Nothing, I remember visiting you and saying hello. Are you ready to get married and settle down?" It asked me.

"Yes, Daddy, if you're worried that Cathaliya and I's lives will be like yours and Mommy's, that won't happen." I said.

"You and mommy don't love each other, while Cathaliya and I does." I said. Daddy sighed.

“Your business opponents are what I'm worried about, son. You don't know who they are." He says.

I leaned back on the couch. “You're right, Daddy, I don't really know them. But there are many ways to get to know them and buried them alive.” My answer.

“Just be careful, Atlas. I'm just here for you.” He said to me once, tapping my back.

"Yes, Daddy." My answer. It has left my office.

I took my key and left the office and went to my company’s parking lot. I signaled to my four bodyguards that I was leaving, and they followed me. I’m on the highway now, driving towards Cathaliya’s office. I'll pick her up because we're both going somewhere today. Cathaliya is an architect in her own company. She has many achievements in life, so I can't help but be jealous sometimes because there are many men chasing her. But they are unlucky because I already own her. I have reached the company of my bride. I got out of the car and went inside her office. "Hi, sweetheart." I said.

“Atlas, you're here.” My girlfriend said and her eyes was blinking once hugging my neck. This woman is so sweet and understanding, in our years of relationship. I didn’t noticed that we fought over nonsense things.

"We're going somewhere today," I said while sitting on the couch.

"Wherever?" it asked me.

"It's a surprise." I said, simultaneously holding her cheek and squeezing it.

"Ouch, that hurts, babe." She told me while holding her hand.

"I'm sorry, I didn’t mean to." I said. As I blow an air from my mouth to ease the pain.

“If you didn’t propose marriage to me, all I think you’re gay since you keep on squeezing my cheeks.” She said grinning.

“No way! You better prepared yourself then, I’m going to punish you for saying that I’m gay.” I said, laughing.

Then she came closer at me and whispered something in my ear. “I’m always prepared, my fiancée.” She said and bite my ear.

“Damn you! Ouch!” I exclaims in pain. “I didn’t know that you know how to bite.” I said and sit in her swivel chair.

I grab a mirror and check my ear. Then I notice a small red marks that I know that her teeth. I shook my head.

“All right, we're leaving." I told her. She took the sling bag and slung it over her arm.

"Where are your body guards?" She asked me.

"Don't worry, they are always with us, so nothing bad will happen between the two of us." I said to her.

When Cathaliya and I arrived at our destination, I took her to a fashion designer I know.

"What are we doing here, Atlas?" She asked me.

“What else are the two of us going to do here? But we will choose a nice gown for you." My answer.

“Seriously? I’m so lucky to have you, "she told me.

"Me too." My answer. “And I want you to be the most beautiful bride on the day of our wedding.” I said and kiss her lips. She smiled at sweetly. This smile of her was make my problem go away.

"Enough with the sweetness, love birds." Samantha interrupted. A woman with grace and elegance.

"Hi, Sam." I said, simultaneously hugging her.

"You must be the bride-to-be. Nice to meet you." Samantha said to Cathaliya.

"Nice to meet you too." My girlfriend answered.

"Here's the catalog. You can choose all the designs you want." Sam put the catalog down on the glass table.
