After complaining about not wanting to marry anyone for years my family still try every time to set me up, this is fourth time they have arranged another marriage the second son of the Senate Representative of the city, apparently news have gone far about the death of three of my husbands both first sons, so every family is careful about pairing with me or giving out their first sons.

“Hahn, put a pretty smile for your face” my mom loved to pretend to there weren’t any rumors about me killing my husband’s two days after the marriage, giving out statements like ‘oh my darling can’t even hurt a fly so how will you think she could hurt or let alone kill her husband’ she could think or say whatever as long as it helps her sleep, I will just continue with what I have always done kill my way out

“I’m ready let’s get these done with so I can proceed to the honeymoon” I put up my sweetest and lovely that smile I could.

“Yeah, that’s the spirit my lovely daughter, you’re a Silver and we don’t bring our heads down” she cups my cheeks and gives it a little peck.

‘Let’s all rise as the bride walks in’ I take my father’s arm and move into the halls light music plays at the background as the man, my fourth husband stands at the altar looking at me with fear in his eyes, oh yes pretty boy be scared I will definitely be the last pretty thing you will see, leaving my father’s arm I grab the hand of my new husband.

“You look pretty” he smiles.

“Thank you, and you don’t look bad yourself Trevor” smiling back, we turn to face the wedding officiant.

“Please be seated, lets bless this lovely union of Hahn and Trevor, do you Hahn take Trevor to be your husband to live until death do you part” always my favorite line till death do us part.

“I do” I answer with a genuine smile on my face, after asking Trevor and getting his response “I now proclaim you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride.” the kiss is simple and short and deep cause why put effort into something that is not worth it.

The engagement went fast as possible, wishes, blessings all things I have heard several times, putting on a nice smile and politely greeting everyone we move to the nice hotel my family ordered for us.

“Your room number is 208 floor three” Trevor collects the key card, and we proceed to take the elevator while I debate on how to make this fast, should it be at the honeymoon or a week after the honeymoon.

“Hey, Hahn I know our parents set this marriage for us, but let’s make the most of it an learn to work around each other” he is a sweetheart, I think I will keep him for a week. The elevator door opens, and we head to our room.

“We don’t have to do anything you don’t want this night, I will head to the shower” he removes his tie and shirt and heads to the shower, I see he is being careful, laughing I sit on the bed.

“Trevor does really know how to pick his battles”? I remove my gown and wear the hotels robe waiting patiently for my darling husband to come out he takes more time than necessary ‘has he decided to kill himself and make things easy for me?’ I move to the bathroom tapping on the door, no answer “Trevor, are you alright” moving inside the spacious bathroom, it is nice in here.

“Hahn” he comes out of the shower a towel wrapped around his body it will really be a shame to see this fine body six feet in the ground “did I take too long, sorry I just got carried away.” I nodded and turned away, so much for thinking I could make my plan that easy.

“You can use the shower, I’m through” I sighed, let’s get through this night and the week ahead. After using the shower room service came in for our food and then Trevor decided to start small talks trying to get me better and also wants me to get to know him, he definitely getting more points, but I won’t change my mind regardless and that doesn’t mean I won’t enjoy this small lovely time with him, I will need all the small talk I can get when I want to cry on his funeral day.

One week later

“Has there been any news on Hahn’s new marriage.”

“No, sir, nothing she has been going on functions and dates with him since the marriage.”

“Is that so, have you finally found the one Hahn or maybe you got tired, I need to check something for myself, send her address to me and finish up with today’s work.”

“Yes sir, I will send you the update of todays finished work and tomorrow’s schedule” he leaves the room closing the office door.
