Subatra is in Chennai for the treatment of her only son named, Sakthivel, who has become autistic and speechless due to an accidental injection. Though all the doctors lose hope for his recovery, Subatra took an oath that, "She will not think of anything else unless and until his son recovered completely."

For three years, Sakthivel's mother didn't think about anything and made him to get cured of all following a healthy diets. Sakthivel's father too paid for his expenses of 30 Lakhs and after his recovery, Sakthi joins in school where too, he faces a lots of challenges…

Sakthi is eventually left in Pollachi for three and a half years and here he sees so many memorable moments in his life.

Initially, Sakthi feels too intolerable to stay in his grandparent's house since, he dislikes the structure of the house and feels uneasy to stay with them. In further, Sakthi feels difficult to communicate in English for all the time in the ICSE school, where his father has put him…

Besides these humorous situation, Sakthi's new friends mocks him to the core for lacking the knowledge of English. Eventually, Sakthi's weakness becomes a turning point in his life.

To make Sakthi adapted to the new environment, Sakthi is made with a schedule by his father according to which, he has to concentrate more on his academics and stop thinking about sports and tourism.

Eventually, Sakthi turns as a average student in the school and afterwards starts to study well and get adapted to his new friends. However, some of the friends around Sakthi, who are jealous to his success and the avengers, tries to get him down waiting for an right opportunity.

Sakthi decides to propose his love when his birthday comes on 5.11.2013. However, Sakthi goes sad when he learns from his friend, Ashwin that, "It's because of Sakthi that, he was attracted to Ishika and he indeed, loved her so much."

Sakthi feels heartbroken and goes like crying. However, he controls his emotions and decides to sacrifice the love for his friend's sake since, Ashwin is sensitive and cannot afford to tolerate failure. But, Sakthi, who has always got attached to both success and failure, takes it easier.

When Ashwin proposed to Ishika, she replies that, "She too loved him a lot and indeed was waiting to propose at right time." Sakthi decides to stay away from Ishika and Ashwin fearing that, he may tell his love to Ishika at anytime being emotional and sensitive like Ashwin.

Sakthi remains heartbroken and upset for so many days in his school and this has been noticed by one of his friend Jagan and Anuvishnu. While Anuvishnu, wants to be good for Sakthi, Jagan is egoistic and he always considers Sakthi as his rivalry to his education, since Sakthi is too intelligent.

Though Sakthi is average at studies, he was more interested in Geography and History, in which he has more intelligence and this makes Jagan more jealous. However, he knows that, Sakthi is weak in talking bold to girls and also that, he has a fear with them.

The duo goes near to Sakthi, who cries in-order to forget the loss of Ishika and Anuvishnu calls him, "Sakthi"

"Ah! Come Anuvishnu…When did you come?" asked Sakthi…

"Now only da. What are you doing here? Our PT Class is over. See, we have to go for van" said Anuvishnu.

"Oh! Is it? Ok. Let's go. I forgot this" said Sakthivel.

"Don't act too smart, Sakthi. We know that you are upset and that, you are trying to hide it from us" said Jagan and Anuvishnu.

"Not like such Aravinth. That's your assumption" said Sakthi.

"You use to be happy and smiling always. What happened to you, today?" asked Anuvishnu.

"Hey…Don't you see. I am now smiling right" said Sakthi.

"Only your mouth is saying like such, Sakthi. But, not your mind. Something has made you disturbed. Tell us, what is it? Then only, we may try to solve it" said Anuvishnu.

Sakthivel said all the events to Anuvishnu and Jagan. The latter, Jagan feels very elated and happier, who decides to take the situation to his advantage while Anuvishnu said to Sakthi, "Not to be worried, Sakthi. Everything does not happens, as we wished. Same in your life. Think that this is also one of the failure in your life as like your dreams to see all over India, which remained failure."

Unable to control his tears, Sakthi hugs Anuvishnu crying and he consoles him. After Sakthi goes to his van, Jagan tells to Anuvishnu, "If I use Sakthi's situation to my favor, how will it be Anuvishnu?"

"It will be worse Jagan. Everyone will spit on you. How can you be like this even at the point of Sakthi's sadness. Are you mad?" asked Anuvishnu.

Jagan slaps Anuvishnu. "You are my relative, Anuvishnu. How can you support the guy, who came to very few days before. You very well know that, he is my competitor. Not only that, he is also timid and anger in his character" said to him Jagan.

"I know that he is timid and anger. But, there is a valid reason for his anger. He respects friendship a lot. Not like you, Jagan being jealousy and selfish" said Anuvishnu.
