Have you ever wondered if humans were the only creatures? If all the myths you heard your whole childhood are true? If there's more to what the eyes have seen?

My name is Elena Martinez. I live in New Orleans with my mother who adopted me when I was little.

My story is not clear yet but all I know is that I'm a 20-year old girl.

Whether Elena was a ghost, demon, Angel, vampire; she didn't know. All she knew was that she wasn't human.

It was late in the night and she was crossing the street. Her mind suddenly became blank.

She eventually woke up in a large room. She looked around, the room was beautiful.

She found her feet and began to walk towards the door, opening it slowly till she stood face to face with beauty.

Did this house belong to a king? The owner must be super rich

She hit her head hard, trying to remember what happened but nothing came.

"You died" a voice called from behind. She looked back and saw no one.

'did she die' she thought. If she died that would have been a reasonable explanation for what was going on.

Avoiding the voice, she walked downstairs and saw so many people in the room. There wasn't enough chairs for all to sit so some where standing. She stood there too.

'These people could be just like her'' she thought.

The voice came again.

"I know you all are wondering how you got here. Well, you're all dead".

Just like that? How? When? Her story just began. Why would she die now?

" Come each of you to decide your destiny" the voice called again.

A book materialized in the room. ''The Book of Life" To be precise.

It now became clear. Each person came one by one and would go to either heaven or hell.

Elena held her breath thinking about the stories which she had heard about hell. She wasn't going to reach heaven but it's good to have hope.

After waiting for what seemed like hours, she was called.

Those terrifying stories about hell came back to her memory. She was now panicking.

She closed her eyes and waited to be sent to hell. After giving up the wait, she opened her eyes. Why wasn't she sent to hell?

" Relax Elena Martinez. You're not going yet, you still have to go back and eliminate the enemies" the person behind the voice said.

She didn't know how the person behind the voice knew her name but that was the least of her problems, looking at the situation she was in right now.

Who were the enemies? Why would she need to eliminate them.

Maybe she was dreaming. All these didn't seem to make sense to her again.

The confusion was too much for her and she couldn’t bear it any longer.
