**On-going** Sam Daniels is trying to keep her head above water. She moves from her small island home to life with her sister in Gosport, UK. Her life consists of travelling to work in Portsmouth, an hour each way, and making a name for herself at her tech job at Mega Inc. One of her favourite past times is when she can relax and let loose with her sister and go clubbing. It's not a frequent occurance, so she looks forward to when their schedules sync and they can hangout. Nothing can prepare her for the attraction she feels towards a dark, mysterious stranger who catches her eye. Dancing with him all night, she can't help but feel an immense pull to him. When the party is over, she loses track of him and instead makes her way home. After putting her sister to bed, she hears a knock on her door. She's surprised to see her mysterious stranger on her doorsteps. Feeling brave, she decides to invite him in. Unfortunately for her, she doesn't realise how different her life will become.

Born in a hunter family as the girl was tough for her from the beginning of her life when her family had stereotypes thinking that females were born for handling the household work and the family. To prove to her family that she was worthy to be a hunter, she trained harder and trained to be the best. But knowing that she wouldn’t get any chance by sitting at home, she started traveling to the cities, hunting for evil supernatural creatures and punishing them for their crimes but it wasn’t enough. She needed one strong and powerful supernatural creature who couldn’t be killed by anyone, and by killing him or her and that was when she found her perfect target, a handsome vampire, who she wanted to kill and kiss at the same time. She couldn’t decipher her feelings. She thought to trap and kill him but instead, she was getting trapped by him in the name of feelings that she didn’t want to decipher. Realizing that she was about to be trapped by him, she escaped and he chased her. The situation was flipped totally when the predator became the prey and the prey was now the predator. Let’s see who was to hunt and who wanted to be hunted?

"Please don't leave me" she cried out helplessly feeling dejected as she continued to thrash in my arms. Her swollen eyes and hoarse voice broke what's left of my already broken heart knowing fully well that I was the cause of her plight. Oh, how I wish things were different. That I wasn't a vampire and she the most beautiful human being I've had the privilege to lay my eyes on, that I wasn't the devil and she an angel. "You can't stay," I said equally pained if not more. "But I want to stay with you". She continued to lament. "You can't okay it's not safe for you anymore" I replied getting kinda pissed. Did she think this was easy for me? "You're going home Angel," I told her. "What! No! I am home" she whimpered. Someone suddenly cleared his throat behind silently telling me to hurry up. Noticing that we'd been going around in circles, I sighed deeply. I looked straight into her enchanting forest green eyes almost getting lost. "I love you okay, always remember that. No matter what I've always loved you and I always will". I professed, no truer words had ever or would ever pass through my lips. "I lo..." before she could finish, I put my index finger on her delicately plump lips. "Shh, don't say it. I don't deserve it, I don't deserve you. Say it to someone who wouldn't cause you so much pain and sadness." I placed a lingering kiss on her forehead then looked in her eyes once more and they were literally pleading to not send her away; to not destroy what we already have but I can't just ignore the danger. She continued to squirm in my hold, her hand reaching out to me. My breath hitched the second her warm hand touched the light stubble on my jaw. This simple gesture made my heart thump hard against my rib cage. I guided her hand to my chest where she could feel my erratic heartbeat. "This my love is what you do to me with just a mere touch." My body tingled from head to toe igniting a fire within me; a feral need to be with her; to comfort her; to love her.
